Definitely worth a visit , buildings art and a lovely setting in Palma with view over the harbour. Often there are events happening in the courtyards.

This was our first stop on the island. My husband loved visiting this museum. They have some many guns, knives, and machine guns displayed. They also have an Enigma machine. Lots to enjoy for the entire family.

Small museum,FREE entry.A very clean, well cared for place with some great exhibits ,well presented. For me this was much better than castle bellver, which had great views but not much more to see. This little fort has great views of the bay obviously as this is where he guns need to point, and Palma itselfThe exhibits of guns, swords, daggers etc, artillery, cannon, equipment and uniforms are from around the world and some exhibits are very ornate and interesting even if your not mad on history,Do go there, visit about 11 am as closes at 2 pm,closed also Mondays.Easy to reach by number 1 bus

I thought this was a little gem.First I was pleasantly surprised to find it was Free to enter, and easy to get to by number 1 bus,so if you are visiting on a budget it has great views of Palma and the bay ,even if you are not mad on history it is great. There is an impressive collection of flintlock guns and pistols, some very ornate and interesting, and more modern arms too.The collection of swords and daggers etc from around the world was equally amazing, some being quite wierd looking and not what you would want to come across in the hands of an enemy. There were about 20 artillery pieces on display and a few cannon and petards, artillery instruments, wireless sets, uniforms and flags etc.l spent about 1 1/2 hrs there.A small but very well displayed museum which was Very clean and tidy.Go about 11 am as closes at 2 pm,closed Mondays

Get here by car, on foot from Porto Pi or on the number 1 bus. It is a gun fort with good views over the port. It houses a collection of artillery pieces and a military museum. Its a good place to go for those interested. Entry if free and there is a pleasant cafe in the grounds.

There are lots of amazing places to visit in Mallorca. Unless you have a huge interest in military buildings with guns, this is not a must, in our view. As event arrangers we have been offered this fortress and have opted for other better choices.
