We stayed at the Palma Suites over Christmas break for 5 nights. The room was large enough for us and the bed was very comfortable. Having fully equipped kitchen was really nice to have, especially while traveling with a 1 year old. The location was perfect - near to all the sights and bus stops. Can't beat the location. There was some noise at night from the youngsters downstairs who frequented the nearby bars, but that is probably the case all over Palma. The manager, Martin was such a pleasure to deal with - we lingered to chat with him almost every time we returned. The rest of the staff was also great. The rooftop was beautiful but it was too cold to use in December; I'm sure its amazing in the summer. This review gets 4 stars instead of 5, because the cleaning people never really cleaned the apartment properly - it was a 5 minute sweeping and changing of bath linens. But that was the only thing that bothered me....can't complain about anything else! The shower was amazing.
On a side note - Palma became a ghost town around Christmas, with all shops closed for 3-4 days. I do not recommend going around this time as finding food was quite difficult, especially with a child.More
