Perfect hotel for a few days exploring Palma's old town. The hotel only opened 6 months ago so it is in perfect condition. Spacious, modern rooms which are nice and dark at night and a very large, comfortable bed. The air conditioning is also perfectly silent.
The rooftop is a lovely place for breakfast which is fresh, plentiful and healthy. It has sweeping views over the bay from sunrise to sunset. It is also a great spot for a pre-dinner drink before heading out to one of Palma's restaurants.

Room Tip: We stayed in a room at the back of the hotel which was nice and quiet, the rooms on the front have n...

We have spent three nights at this hotel. We had as all suite with terrace looking out onto the bay at Palma.
The hotel is on edge of the old town, but an easy walk to all the shops and restaurants. It also accessible for taxis, which is important if you have substantial luggage, as you do when you travel from Australia to Europe.
We arrived early, as we had to drop off our Rent car, and our room was not ready. The wonderful staff arranged to keep our bags safe, while we went to explore the Old Town. We were telephoned about an hour later to advise that our room was ready. When we returned about 5pm, our luggage was in the room.
The hotel has been recently renovated. The bathroom was spacious, with separate WC and shower, as well as a generous bath tub.
There was ample storage and a luggage rack that could fit two large suitcases.
The room had a great terrace, with sun all day. The aircon was effective and even though the main highway is only a couple of hundreds meters from the hotel, the traffic noise was not an issue.
The hotel has a roof garden for breakfast and snacks, but we did not use it, as we preferred to be out and about. There are also spa facilities which we did not use.
This is not a budget hotel but it gives great value for money in an increasingly expensive Europe.

A bright friendly, charming hotel with a rooftop terrace to die for. Kind, attentive staff who couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome . Located in the charming old town,Cathedral area so lots of wonderful places to walk with a glass of cava to welcome us back.

Room Tip: Sea view, floor 4.

My husband & I booked this fabulous boutique hotel for just the one night on route to Soller. It really is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. Location is ideal. Our greeting from the reception staff could not have been more welcoming. The room & facilities were fabulous. Breakfast on the terrace was just great. The general manager & his staff were all so lovely, not one of them could have done more to make our stay more special. We can't wait to return to your fabulous hotel. Thank you

We had originally booked to stay at the Can Cera for 6 nights, but due to them having a late group booking, they moved us here for our first 2 nights. We were upgraded to a Suite, which I have to say was stunning. Absolutely huge room, with amazing sea views from your own private balcony. Bathroom was beautiful too.

Carlos was absolutely charming - he couldn't have been more helpful, particularly when arranging transport of our luggage back to the Can Cera.

The rooftop terrace for breakfast here was stunning and good was excellent quality. Because of the mix up with booking, the Boutique Hotel Calatrava also threw in free breakfast for us, which was great! Additionally, the bar on the ground floor was a lovely environment to sit outside and watch the world go by.

Housekeeping services second to none. Everything replaced daily, if not more frequently! All in all, excellent!

I dont know where the last reviewer was but the welcome we had from the reception and bar staff was the warmest we have recieved. The atention to detail makes this hotel one of the best to experience an unforgettable stay.
Our suite was airy, well decorated and had really amazing views to the bay.
As a person who travel a lot, I can stay the breakfast here is a genuine experience, delicious, with high quality products and a great service offered by the two girls that work there.
I made already a booking for my next stay in October. Calatrava is one of my favorite new hotels.
Thank you very much for making our stay very pleasant. Stefano and Laura

This was a treat for my wife that was no treat for me. She has always said she would like to try the new style of Boutique hotel so as this was new and had many glowing reports I booked.
It all went a bit chilly at reception, we got the cold shoulder and didn't "look " the right kind of customers.
The room was empty!! It felt very cold, although the sun was shining, and the views from the tiny window were lovely, shame you had to go right up to it to see anything.
They obviously gear this towards the up and coming set, and we don't add up.
This made the time spent at the hotel awful, we got some dirty looks from other guests too, all we wanted was a great holiday, and it ended up leaving a nasty taste.
I can see now that this was not for us. Never again.
