“A true boutique hotel”

This hotel has an excellent location in Ciutadella. The common areas of the hotel were the standouts of this property - from the beautiful candle-lit wall at reception to the magical pool/hammam area to the stunning views from the rooftop terrace. Unique touches were found throughout the hotel. Our room was very unique in terms of the layout and had a nice view of the courtyard; however, there was little in the way of decoration. Service was extremely friendly. The only mild drawback was that it seemed somewhat expensive for what you received...however, that may well be in keeping with prices in the town.

We just finished coming back from our third year in a row to Menorca. We have now stayed at the Hotel Tres Sants in 2011, El Carme Apartments in 2012 and the Hotel Tres Sants in 2012. We have also had a great tour of the Albranca Hotel and had a wonderful supper at this property. Josep and his family continue to run first class boutique accommodations. We highly recommend staying at any of the three properties. See our 2011 "Simply Fantastic" review on Hotel Tres Sants and the photos. We can't say much more.

We are from Canada and have been all over Canada and the USA as well as vacation stays in Bahams, Dominican Republic, Sweden, Finland, Greece, Italy, Croatia and in Spain, Barcelona, Ibiza, and Mallorca in 25 years of travel. We are certain any negative reviews are from individuals that are difficult to please. We have stayed at 6 star hotels around the world too and find them to "fake" for our liking. We have yet to find anything that compares to the Grup El Carme family and the Island of Menorca for an authentic and beautiful Six Star holiday stay!!

We are already planning on coming back to stay with you again Josep & family in 2014 and enjoy another round of paradise!!!! Thank you so much for everything! Sincerely, Kelly & Tanya

The hotel is a hidden gem in the middle of Ciutadella, with lots of character. Our room had a lovely sunken bath, and charming views down the narrow side streets from the bedroom windows. The basement pool was ideal on a hot afternoon, and the roof terrace has great views of the cathedral and beyond. Breakfast was excellent, with friendly service and very good quality food. Overall, a lovely hotel, quirky and distressed-looking in places, and very well thought-out design throughout. Another bonus is Cafe Anima, which is attached to the hotel, and has a great atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

Delightful, family-run hotel excellently located close to the Cathedral in Ciutadella and within an easy walk of all sights, restaurants etc. Rooms were huge, and as can be seen in the photos, very modern in decor that started fashionably "distressed", and might now be a little more so. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff (all it seems members of an extended family) could not have been more charming or helpful; the younger ones speak the best English. I won't say how the hotel manager helped us, in case it comes to be expected, but he really went out of his way for us. We saw, but didn't have time to use, the swimming pool and sauna, which looked great. Location is perfect, but in a maze of narrow streets, so if arriving by hire car, unload in the main square, walk to the hotel (map needed) and take the car to a park about 5 mins walk away. Although the hotel is far enough away from any noisy bars, rest might be disturbed by those going home in the early hours, and street football in the afternoon - both conducted at Spanish volume, and both probably inescapable anywhere in the city. An excellent hotel with superb service - very highly recommended.

We have been to Menorca on a number of occasions and Ciutadella is our favourite place on the Island. We chose Tres Sants because it is in a good central location in the old town, and because of the fabulous reviews it gets. The hotel itself has few soft furnishings or home comforts either in the public areas, or the rooms. The bed in our room was built out of concrete as was the head board the only chairs were deck chair style. The bath the floors and the hand basin were all made of concrete. The room also smelt damp, as did some of the public areas. There is nowhere to sit and read because the hotel is so dimly lit. The breakfast was prety good, but the music playing on the crackly speaker was not. I can understand why people like this hotel but if you like your creature comforts, its probably not the place for you. We will definatley return to Menorca but not to Tres Sants.

Having spent the previous week in a budget apartment in Cala Galdana (which was fantastic but basic), we treated ourselves to a week in one the Hotel Tres Sants apartments, located in a narrow lane nearby. The apartment was large, contemporary, stylish and beautiful; well equipped and with a seriously comfy bed. The bathroom had a great big walk in shower - bliss! It was a joy just to spend time in the apartment, which was a bonus as we visited at the end of the season, so we had the odd rainy morning. A stay at one of these apartments includes use of the hotel facilities and breakfast. Breakfast was varied and delicious with fresh squeezed orange juice, all kinds of fresh fruits, yoghurts, breads, pastries, cheeses, cold meats and so on. The hotel has a pool and steam room in the old vaulted basement - this was so relaxing - music playing and mood-lighting while you swim up and down. Josep and his family are lovely hosts - very kind and helpful people who take great care in all they do to ensure everything is just right. Ciutadella itself is such a charming place to visit and it was delightful to find somewhere so stylish and comfortable for our stay here - it really enhanced our stay and made it really special.

Stayed for 7 nights in October. As soon as we walked in the hotel had the WOW factor, our room was gorgeous, very spacious, clean, comfortable & had all the mod cons.

Loved the fact their were candles & tea lights everywhere (especially the reception area), very romantic. The hotel was classy & well decorated throughout.

The swimming pool was a lovely surprise and great it was open 24 hours. It was never busy (even on a rainy day) so had to ourselves. Liked the fact they had romantic music in there.

Location of the hotel was perfect, in the centre of the old town, close to everything. Spoilt for choice of bars & restaurants most within 5 minutes walking distant in any direction.

Breakfast was lovely with good selection. All the juice was freshly made while you waited & the coffee was amazing.

Thanks you & can't wait to return one day.
