We loved it here, a beautiful empty beach. The sea was a deep shimmering blue, the sand warm, the scenery fantastic. Remember to take your own refreshments.

Beautiful bay and sea. Its quite a walk from the carpark. Take your own drinks and beach stuff as it hasn't any facilities.

Yes it was warm enough to swim in in April. I think it is the second most beautiful beach on the island, after macarelleta. But well worth a day (or a week!)

This little gem of a beach can get very busy at peak holiday periods so don't expect to be able to play football or have an unspoilt beach to yourselves. I have to rate this beach as very good as it suited us as a couple and we visit in May or October. The setting for the beach is great, sandy and quite shallow and offering plenty of shady areas to help avoid the hottest times of the day. Snorkelling offers no great surprises but can still be interesting on the west side of the bay. What I would say is, leave the beach for a while and take a little walk to the east. 10 minutes and you will see a great view of the islands south coast. As I said, it was our sort of beach but it will not suit everyone. Why, you may ask? Firstly, it is a 10-15 minute walk from the car park to the beach. It is a lovely walk down to the beach, but uphill coming back. Not greatly arduous, but if you have your hands full and pushing a buggy it can be a little hard going. Secondly, there are no facilities at the beach. So take all you require with you. Finally, the only reason I could not give this beach an excellent rating is because at the back of the beach, although hidden, it is the place where everyone goes to the toilet. It is littered with used toilet paper and all the rubbish no-one can be bothered to take away with them. In conclusion, yes, this is a great little beach to visit for a quick swim and a little walk for couples. I wouldn't recommend it for large families or the reasonably fit. I would have loved to have given it an excellent rating, but the point of a review is to let you know what to expect, not what I like. Go and Enjoy!

We visited this beach because it was advertised as a remote beach with few people. But when we arrived it was heavily visited (for the fact it was off season and Menorca seemed more or less dead still with few tourists). We recognised that many visitors were Spanish or Locals so maybe this is a good beach to visit to mingle with locals.

It is easy to reach by car, and has a parking facility, and a small restaurant that serves baguettes, coffee and ice cream. This restaurant also has a toilet and a shower. When parking your car you will need to walk around 10-15mins to the beach but it is a leafy way so even it is sunny, it will have enough shade.

Anyone interested should also try to hike up the hill around the beach, gives great pictures!
The water is incredible clean, clear and blue! But for May it was just too cold for me to swim :)

However, overall it is not a remote beach where you will find yourself alone.
