A great little friendly hotel situated centrally near to the harbourside. This is a great base to explore the old capital and many restaurants in the town and along the harbourside. Very clean and tidy hotel with a great choice of breakfast if you want it, although there are nearby cafés if you would prefer something cheaper or purely for variety. Slightly difficult to find initially by car due to the multitude of one way streets in Ciutadella, but well worth the hunt once you find it!

This was an ideal location for exploring Menorca as a whole. Plenty of room to park or 1 minute from the bus stops to all of Menorca inc Mahon. The hotel is a 3 star but with added luxury go for the suite rooms (there r only 4). We stayed in Ibiza suite and Menorca suite, the latter is the better. Breakfast is lovely , fresh and plentiful but don't expect a full english..this is not really a tourist hotel. Take a travel kettle and tea/coffe/ your own mugs and teaspoon and enjoy a morning cuppa on the terrace. Kettles are extra to hire. A little supermarket is just over the road on a side street, empty your room fridge and buy your own stuff. Bathroom is nice , power shower is fab. Plenty of wardrobe/ drawer space and a sofa in the Minorca suite. The Ibiza suite has an unsightly column slap bang in the middle of the room and the bathroom is small with the oldest hairdryer in the world (not joking) , take your own ( unless you have short hair of course ) and then you wont need one! Flatscreen tv in both rooms but only english channel is bbc world news..there is a decent music channel tho.
Lift up to the 3rd floor and then you have to walk up to the suite rooms another floor..be careful I did slip on the marble floors wear sensible footwear in the hotel (not flip flops as I did). The pool area is small but relaxed and quiet ...idyllic if you have it to yourself.
Staff are unobstrusive and calm and polite...but very helpful if you ask.
The bed was large and comfortable ...pillows a little much to be desired but ok. Nothing to complain about. All in all a good hotel.

Room Tip: Suites are better and larger. Suite Minorca is better than suite Ibiza.

I was utterly delighted with everything starting from the reception to the state in which we found the rooms. The polite and warm service we received was much welcomed as we were indeed quite tired at arrival. The beds were cozy and everything was 100% clean. Loved the breakfast too! The location was superb!!!!

I first visited this hotel 4 years ago, and was impressed by the location and staff.
I returned in September this year and found the standard still good.
The location of the hotel is very near the town centre, but quiet rooms are available over looking the pool.
The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable,
This hotel used by many different nationalities. This makes people watching very interesting.
We did not hirer a car, but used the reliable bus services to the 'virgin beaches'. These were amazing and peaceful.
A good place to eat, if you like mixing with the locals, and are on a budget, is Club 94 Republica Argentina 94 in Ciutadella. Do not be put off by the paper table clothes.!

We stayed at the Patrica Hotel as part of a Simply Travel package which included car hire.
We arrived and were somewhat apprehensive having read some of the traveller’s reviews on Trip Advisor but we found that we had a very good room with all facilities that you would expect of a good hotel. The hotel is family owned and the staff were helpful and extremely courteous. The breakfast was one of the best I have had in a continental hotel. They continued to replenish with exceptionally fresh supplies right up to the advertised closing time. The hotel is centrally situated, in an excellent location and we were able to stroll for an evening meal within the town square within minutes. It is one street parallel to the harbour which was a lovely walk day or night. We did note that there were many Spanish people who used the hotel – which normally is a good sign. Whilst some traveller may have had different experiences we can say that we found the hotel exceptional for service, quality and courtesy - thoroughly recommended! We would, I mean will, certainly return to this hotel!!

Room Tip: Overlooking the pool on second or third floor

This is a really nice little hotel in a GREAT little town. We were here in June and it was hot. Unfortunately, the room was also very hot... but we were booked in for 5 nights (as my traveling companion was diving in the area) so I was not going to suffer. I went out and bought a 20 dollar fan. With the fan, the room was perfect. I left it for the next person, the price was so reasonable, i figured, hey, why not?
The breakfast buffet was really good. The public transportation to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world was very cheap and easy to use. We arrived the week before the Festival of Sant Joan, the patron saint of the town. This meant we got to see some of the really interesting pre-festival festivals, like on the Sunday before when all the children were out on the streets and there were bags and bags of nuts strewn over the streets that they scampered after like a lot of little squirrels. This was the Sunday of the Lamb... one can also try to touch the lamb that a local man carries about on his shoulder while sipping pomada... which is lemonade with gin in it, or more accurately, gin with a little lemonade in it..... not to be missed.

Room Tip: Make sure the air conditioning is working, or that you can get ahold of the fan i left there....

Very conveniently located a short walk from place des Born, close to old town, harbour and both bus stations. A relatively modern hotel with a sunny walled swimming pool. Very competitive rates and only 6E for a good breakfast with a mix of fruits, meats, cheeses, cereals and bacon/scrambled egg. Rooms not perfect in terms of maintenance but quite large and include a bath! Slightly surprised by a charge for coffee from the machine in reception and the charge for use of the room safe. Rooms to the front of the hotel a little noisy. That said we would happily return to this hotel given balance between cost and quality.
