Oasis run FREE coach services from most parts of the island so you dont have transport issues here.
Upon arrival thw queues for tickets were long and slow, so i would recommend purchasing prior to departure (cheaper if bought online). There are various Shows/displays spread throughout the day so these can help you plan your trek through this magnificient zoo.
Be prepared for a long day and plenty of walking as the whole park is well spread out and marvelolously interspaced with floral gardens(even if this is meant to keep some of the animals in the shade). Cafes there are a few and not cheap, but then again not expensive for a captured audience, however if you really want to carry your own food & drink around with you on what will be a long walk - we(our smartphone app) measured 8 miles walked on our visit.
Not wanting to give anything away but the Reptiles show is very entertaining, whilst i recommend a hat at the Birds of Prey show. And a camera, although a lot of things happen fast you may be best using video or just enjoy the happy memories of your own eyesight to behold.
