Owner description: Oasis Park Fuerteventura If you visit Fuerteventura and don’t discover its Oasis you will miss out on a major part of its charm. Located on the south east coast of the island, Oasis Park Fuerteventura is a beautiful must-visit nature reserve. It is an 800,000m2 area sheltering and protecting its flora and fauna, home to over 3000 animals of 250 different species, containing a unique Botanic Garden with the largest cactus garden in Europe. The park has four LIVE spaces where you will be able to enjoy live educational sessions with parrots, sea lions, birds of prey and reptiles, with valuable information from their keepers. Entertainment guaranteed! Furthermore, you can have the unique experience of direct contact with lemurs in the Madagascar area, sea lions under the water and even a spectacular trip along the coast on a camel. These will be moments that you will never forget. Oasis Park Fuerteventura, in addition to being a place for entertainment and fun, is an entity dedicated to developing preservation, education and research projects for flora and fauna, such as those for the Cuvier’s gazelle, the African elephant and the Canarian camel. Thanks to the work of the latter, it has the largest camel reserve in Europe, and research is currently being carried out on the health benefits that camel milk offers humans. Open every day of the year, it includes 3 restaurants, a children’s play area and a farm with domestic animals. A free return bus service collects visitors from different points of the island.

Oasis run FREE coach services from most parts of the island so you dont have transport issues here.
Upon arrival thw queues for tickets were long and slow, so i would recommend purchasing prior to departure (cheaper if bought online). There are various Shows/displays spread throughout the day so these can help you plan your trek through this magnificient zoo.
Be prepared for a long day and plenty of walking as the whole park is well spread out and marvelolously interspaced with floral gardens(even if this is meant to keep some of the animals in the shade). Cafes there are a few and not cheap, but then again not expensive for a captured audience, however if you really want to carry your own food & drink around with you on what will be a long walk - we(our smartphone app) measured 8 miles walked on our visit.
Not wanting to give anything away but the Reptiles show is very entertaining, whilst i recommend a hat at the Birds of Prey show. And a camera, although a lot of things happen fast you may be best using video or just enjoy the happy memories of your own eyesight to behold.
We were 4 adults, but if there are kids with you then you will be asked to go back - we did

Booked this via the hotel so got €1 discount per person, there are other places selling it with "deals" turns out we would have saved 50 cent if we did ! There is a free bus service which picks you up at your hotel we got picked up at 9.10am last pick up then was about a 50 min drive to the park the bus does not pick you back up till 6pm so brace yourself it is a very long day! Price to pay in at door was €28 per adult €18 per child, there is 4 shows included (sea lion, birds of prey, reptile & parrots show) however it is not possible to see all 4 shows because by the time you get there & get into park they have already started and over lap,
It's inland so that nice breeze you get is no more when you arrive at Oasis Park it's very hot & humid, do not wear sandals as it's all on grit so you will constantly be kicking little stones out from under your feet we had done the whole park by 2pm so left us with 4 hours to kill there isn't really anywhere nice & shaded to sit & none of the restaurants have air con in them we struggled on and went to the last show the parrot show at 4.45pm when that finished we left for the car park at 5pm like many others would rather wait an hour in a car park than spend another minute in the park, thinking the bus would arrive early and we could wait on it nope think again it arrived 5.55 with lots of tired grumpy passengers waiting, upon booking this I asked how much a taxi would cost to get home & was quoted €80 back to caleta d fuste so we didn't really think that was in our budget after paying to get in for a day trip how I wish it was though as I would have to get out of there a lot sooner

We had a great couple of hours with my family at Oasis Park. Many animals to see and to feed. The Sea lion show was great fun. Crocodile show I expected to be better.
The zoo is very clean and looks great. The animal compounds were most of the time perfectly prepared.

For 2 Adults + 1 child (4y) around 80 EUR - in my opinion a bit pricy.

Still, it's worth seeing the Zoo.
