We received good friendly service but found we couldn't understand the waiters and so as part of our selection of tapas we ate two different ham dishes. That's our fault: we wrongly expect people to speak English. It may have affected our overall experience but I cannot see how this restaurant could compete with the best in GC.

We went there 3 times in a week and to be honest it says it all. We tried others but nothing compare with La Bulla. From the food, simple and authentic( try the fried langoustines) to the wine, marvellous, and to the service, excellent and family run. Go there and you won't be disappointed.

After reading the reviews for this restaurant we decided to see for ourselves. We arrived at 20-30 on a Saturday night, and it was empty. This did note bode well, but our concerns were short lived. The restaurant is small, cosy, very friendly and helpful. It soon started to fill up with locals, both inside and outside. The menu was quite small, but this is not such a bad thing. We had a very nice meal of mixed croquettes and "small casserole" to share, and then we had the fried fish and pork as our two mains. A nice bottle of Rioja rounded off an enjoyable meal.
