Beautiful beach, so worth the visit! One of the nicest, cleanest beaches we have been to. Surprising quiet for such an amazing spot.

“A tranquil sun trap but hard to get to”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 July 2014

We could see the beaches from our hotel and decided to venture out on foot, not having a car. The walk was a work out in itself with a fair few hills, small winding paths with loose stones and sand. Fine for us but if you aren't prepared, grab a cab as there is a drop off point near the first beach. Perfect if you want to get away from the beach crowds of Playa Blanca and a sun trap all day!

“More than one beach......”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 July 2014

I have been before from the main road, but this time we are staying at puerto Rubicon, so we took the car just a few miles down the road and parked by the big hotel at the end of the urbanisations.

It is just a ten min walk and the beaches this side were amazing and much less people than the other side, reminds me a bit of Barafundle Bay in west Wales, a short walk and they a lovely beach.

I would definitely go, as it is so much nicer than the beaches in costa blanca which are packed.

“Lovely peaceful beaches”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 July 2014

Been going to Lanza for years. This is one of the best beaches I have ever been to, you can always find a quiet spot you could be anywhere in the world. There is only one (sometimes two cafés in peak season) in the whole area but most take food and drinks with them. We do both sometimes having the fresh seafood in the cliff top cafe and other times taking a packed lunch There is a bumpy road to get in but no issues if you take it steady. It's worth the drive. You can also walk to it over the cliff tops but hard going if you have all the things you want with you for a day at the beach ...we have always driven had lovely long chilled out days with no one around. Perfect.

Loved the beaches here, plenty of parking and the kids loved walking down the hills to get to the beach where they were happily playing in the clear blue waters and sand for hours, there wasn't many shady areas so you may want to take a pop up sun shade for children. Well worth a visit to explore, swim, play & just lay in the sun.
