“Herculean hourglass”
Reviewed 23 December 2012

There is a sadness about this place. It is both of the past and in it. But its time - that impatient swine - is running out.
So, don't miss it. Don't coach-party through. Don't hurry past its dusty exhibits.
This is the laborious creation of a dedicated few for the enlightenment of - you!
Sit awhile and let yourself become a part of El Patio. For when the last of its army of devotedly handcrafted seats has withered and died there will be nothing left of what might have been, for you, the most peaceful place on earth.

“Back in time”
Reviewed 1 May 2012

An old winery thjat's been transformed into a museum giving an insight into old farming methods and handicrafts that have all but disappeared. There are numerous buildings to look round, a corral with a cmael, lots of goats and other animals in and a little bodega where you can sample and purchase some of the wine they've made. Admission is 5 euros so not too expensive

“Old farm / winery changed into a great museum.”

This museum shows how farmers worked in the old days. Beautiful kept farmers tools and wine making presses, barrel etc. We spent over an hour there and enjoyed every minute.

“Impressive”
Reviewed 13 November 2011

This is an impressive museum of agricultural life in the years before the Second World War based on a restored, traditional farmhouse. Part of the experience is to see the Farm Managers Cottage as it was lived in up to 1949. There are displays of the tools and equipment used, including animal driven mills. There is a restored windmill and animals which were part of farm life in those years. This is a fascinating experience of the life for farm workers in previous years on the island. Farming on the island was hard work in the soil and climate but essential for the population.
