“What a little Gem”

What a cracking little find - well worth a visit, a surprise round every corner - the only down side, and most unusal for a Lanzarote attraction was the lack of a coffee shop

“Rubbish access”
Reviewed 14 June 2013 via mobile

Do not try to go here with a wheel chair as the whole area is covered in lava stones making movement impossible. Do not try a day in the week as there is no about or available apart from chickens. Wasted 1/2 hr and petrol to get here along with the 5 euro each fee.

“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed 7 May 2013

This museum is well worth a visit, it is like stepping back in time as they have all the old farming equipment and cooking utensils on display for you to appreciate how different people's lives were years ago and the hard labour that people endured just as part of their everyday life, this is very unique and the only museum of it's kind as far as i am aware on the island, so i would highly recommend a visit!!

“Difficult to rate”
Reviewed 8 April 2013

It seems that this attraction may have been abandoned. It was easy to find as is eveything on the island but when we arrived we could not gain access and it appeared that the entrance gates had been locked for some time. It might be worth while asking your hotel or holiday reps about the viability of the site if you are considering a visit.

“Herculean hourglass”
Reviewed 23 December 2012

There is a sadness about this place. It is both of the past and in it. But its time - that impatient swine - is running out.
So, don't miss it. Don't coach-party through. Don't hurry past its dusty exhibits.
This is the laborious creation of a dedicated few for the enlightenment of - you!
Sit awhile and let yourself become a part of El Patio. For when the last of its army of devotedly handcrafted seats has withered and died there will be nothing left of what might have been, for you, the most peaceful place on earth.
