Quiet, clean, professional staff. Lovely relaxing time. Up a hill, so be prepared to walk. Fab views of the mountain from our room. Spacious room, great shower, handy little kitchenette. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Weather in mid April was perfect (23 degrees to begin and 30 degrees by the time we left). Decor plain, but cared for. Fab time...would go again. SPACIOUS!

Hotel looked nice on arrival, rooms are a good size - we had a 1 bed apartment sofa and very clean with a sofa bed and small kitchen.
I thought breakfast was quite average, with some staff not overly helpful. At times they won't allow you to sit in some areas as they are trying to set up for lunch despite there being an hour left of breakfast service. We tried to sit somewhere on two mornings and there was quite a bit of tutting and shaking of heads from some of the staff. This was annoying and quite embarrassing.
Pools were cold (fair enough given the time of year) but also the heated pool wasn't very warm.
There was a small playground for our son to play in with a grass area.
Bar located in reception area and expensive compared to the resort.
Would recommend if not looking to use the hotel facilities/breakfast

Dear guests,
Thank you for your comments about our establishment.
We are glad you liked the apartment.
We are sorry that you got the impression that our waiters were not helpful at breakfast time. Normally, the restaurant is very full some months, as February when you stayed with us. Excuse us because of the inconveniences we may caused you. We always try to satisfy our clients. We will try to organize our meals services a bit better to avoid this kind of misunderstandings.
We only heat one swimming pool and at 23ºC min. but normally, it is a bit warmer, at 25ºC.
All our bars have the equal prices for the same drinks. Perhaps, it was our or your mistake. Excuse us just in case it was our fault.
We regret you did not enjoy yourselves during your stay with us and hope you can undestand our position.

Quite a unique and impressive hotel. Just returned from a week staying half-board. Lovely spacious modern rooms, bathroom and shower great. Requested high floor with a view delighted to be given 918 and 919 overlooking Mount Teide and one of the swimming pools. Food was very good, plenty of choice at breakfast and dinner, enjoyed the Mexican theme and BBQ nights as well. All staff friendly but a special mention to Diego who looked after us so well on T54 and to Miguel for his delicious Sangria in the 9th floor bar. The hotel is up a steep hill but we quite enjoyed the exercise. We would definately return to this hotel...

Stayed here at the end of March 2017 and had a great week. The staff are the most helpful and friendliest you could wish to meet.
Location is a bit dodgy for anyone who can't walk far or up steep hills - there is a hill up to the hotel known locally as "Cardiac Hill" that seemed to be unavoidable. Believe me we tried to find an easier route via other streets but no luck. But saying that, after eating so much high quality food then maybe it helped burn a few calories. After all I still managed to put on nearly half a stone in a week lol.
The beaches are great, black sand of course. With Rocky coastlines that resemble the Cornish coast. March was a bit cloudy and cool in the high area near our hotel but a walk down to the town and beach gave much sunnier warmer weather. Unbelievable that it could be so different but from the hotel you can see the mountains that rise above the clouds.
We were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary so we're treated with a bottle of champagne which was so kind of the hotel.
Outside pool on level 5 is quite cold but covered pool behind the restaurant is warmer.
The gardens around the hotel are large and provide relaxing areas amongst the flowers and lizards ;) There's lots of harmless lizards amongst the rocks and plants that are only looking for food but hotel rules forbid feeding them.
Just to mention the food again.Great quality food and quite an extensive choice Every night we had a great meal Gwyneth putting on weight lol. I can't praise the chefs enough and the bar and restaurant workers arealwayson the go but also so friendly. Recommend going for breakfast fairly early though as it gets very busy after 9am and can be hard to find a table.
Just a couple more points. Great shower but no bath. There is a kettle in the room.hairdryer too. Shop in reception sells water, milk, filter coffee and filter papers - there a red plastic filter in the kitchen cupboard.

Room tip: Room 810 gave no sea views but is a large room and has great mountain views.Sun in the morning.
