“Great holiday”
Reviewed 17 August 2012

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Loro Parque and found it to be perfectly clean, adequate room, staff extremely polite and helpfull. Food choices very good, no complaints. I am sitting in our room writing this review thinking how glad I am that I ignored all the negative 'moaning' I read from previous reviewers. My 9 year old son has had loads of fun on the beach, in the pools, at Loro Parque and Siam Park - loads to do! Weather glorious! Our first time all inclusive and would love to come here again.

the hotel was clean the pool area was lovely plenty of loungers, but unless you were fully inclusive you could not get a snack at poolside between 4pm and 6.and the coffee was awful could not make a latte .No facilities in room to make a drink which is poor for a 4 star but there was a fridge and a safe Towels for poolsidecould be got at reception for a deposit refundable on return this was very good.Hotel catered more for Germans and Spanish and meal times waiting for a table to be cleared could be a bit caotic.would not stay her again entertainment poor unless you love dancing.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks during May.I was travelling solo and was given a large spacious seaview room with a good sized balcony. There are 3 superb quality lifts serving all floors and you didn`t have to wait more than 10 seconds for one to arrive. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and had a good sized bath and good powerful shower.Soap, shampoo aloe vera oils were provided free.Towels were changed every day and the room service was daily 7 days a week. There was a small television in room which had 2 english news channels..Sky and BBC world news. There was also a good sized fridge which was handy.Air condition was also ok. but I didn`t use this very much as the veranda windows opened widely.Breakfast started at 7 in the morning. There was several coffee machines and separate tea bags..different varieties.Orange..apple and pieapple juices.Fresh melons...bananas apples and pears.cakes ..croissants..continental and english breakfast. One point I liked was there was a chef who personally fried your eggs for you so you could have them cooked to your own requirement..also scrambled eggs..horrible tinned sausages and fresh tomato....plenty of variety of breads.Evening meals started at 6.30 and were very good..choice of meat and fish dishes..or fresh salads..small choice of sweets but were tasty.Surprisingly there was rose..white and red wine on offer for free.Good sized outside pool although the sun beds were close to each other.Internal pool and spa looked ok..but I didn`t use these..there was also a well stocked gym.The hotel is a short 5 minute walk to the beach and 5 minute walk to local bus station where you could get a pass for either 12 euros or 30 euros..well worth getting as the fares proved to be 30>40% cheaper.I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and ignore any bad comments made by anyone..maybe I got lucky? Transfer from airport is @1hour 15 mins..there is a place in the local town where you get a good rate of exchange for your pounds.................go on give a try................

Room Tip: Sea viw room is preferred..road immediately outside the hotel is quiet with only the occasional taxi...

I stayed at the hotel in May-June 2012 with my girlfriend. The hotel is a quiet place, but just miss the 500 meters and you are on the promenade. Nearby is the beach, but i recommend to rent a car and look around at the beach. Food at the hotel was very good.

Reviewed 18 May 2012

I stayed at the hotel in April – May 2012 with some friends.
The location of the hotel is very good. Loro Park is “next door”, and the biggest beach in the town is just down the allay. Puerto de la Cruz is not a big town at all, so you can easily reach the center by foot.
The hotel was clean, comfortable, well-maintained, with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and really clean, with comfortable beds and pillars and a large bathroom. In my opinion the best place in the whole hotel is the terrace on the 5th floor.
Food (we had full board) was plenty, with sea food variety (combined with the usual meat, salads, starters, etc), nice wine, white or pink table cloth and good atmosphere in the restaurant.
They play nice gentle music in the corridors. And with all the atriums the whole place is light and airy.
There wasn’t any entertainment and once they even “forgot” to come and play the 5 o’clock movie in the mini cinema, but in my opinion if you have gone to Tenerife to be entertained in a hotel, the problem is yours. There are too many other things to do.
My only concern is that the hotel is very big and when it is full (it wasn’t during my stay) there might be problems, like overcrowded restaurant for example.

Room Tip: The higher the better (for one really great view)

Stayed in this hotel through travel desk. Advertised as 4 star. This hotel would struggle to make 3 star. The hotel was clean but impersonal,Food was plentifull but choice was of cheaper variety. No nightly entertainment and most recreation past times not operating.
