“nice place to stay if you want rest and peace”
Reviewed 6 November 2009

sorry for my bad English, if I write dutch, nobody understand it! :-(
Coming at the villa, a nice guy opened the gate. He gave us something to drink, because the appartment was not yet ready. Meanwile we looked the 'jungle' wich was beautiful and well kept! Beautiful plants, trees, with a lot of privacy! The view was magnificant from that place!
Eduardo( I hope I write his name correct!!) was a quite guy, but speaking with him, he talked very good english! He was a vry nice guy! Later-on we invited him to drink some wine with us!
The appartement was sober, but the price is good. Unfortunatly the rooms where not cleaned every day, but that was not a problem. When we asked something, he was direct helpfiull! We had a accommodation in simply decorated appartment with a simple private shower.
We came to rest, it was perfect! Most of the guests where out during the day so we had the pool for ourself! Great! Water of the pool is a little cold, but clean!
Location: you need a car! But nearby a few nice places! A very nice restaurant on walking distance!

We had a few nice days in a nice place! Thank you Eduardo

This looked really good on line, a good website - and we were so looking forward to our stay - what a let down!!
The caretaker or whatever was very unhelpful, almost rude.
The accomodation was cold and damp, the bed was damp also and the pillow did not smell too good. After a couple of days our clothes felt damp too. It was furnished with a rag bag of odds and ends, and fitted out with crockery and cutlery that was barely sufficient and most unpleasant to use.
I had asked for an apartement that was equiped to cook and was booked into this - the most expensive one - Uh UH - the oven did not work, and again the equipment if I could have used it was barely adaquate.
The drains in the bathroom stank and the sinks in the kitchen area flowed back on themselves - not nice.
The gym that is advertised does not exist - well it does - but only for the caretakers use we were told and the advertised bar did not exist at all.
The pool was untidy and not very clean only compounding the general air of neglect and decay at what was probably, at one
time, an attractive property.
We had to stay for 8 days, we had booked, and paid I am afraid, for 14 days as we could not get an earlier flight back home.
At one time I guess that was an alive and hospitable venue - sadly no more.
