The hotel is a short walk from the port and city Center - beware if walking from the port that you go up some stairs and a steep hill, so if you have cases you might want a taxi.

The property is on a quiet side street and is very clean and tidy. The check in guy was friendly and we cobbled together enough common words to manage the process easily.

The room was immaculate and the bathroom was wonderful with a good shower. Toiletries were provided which bizarrely included shower gel in a sachet but it did smell nice!
The bed was very wide. A little hard for me but the other half thought it was just right. For about £40 you couldn’t fault it.

This hotel is located close to the main shopping area in Santander. It is also close to a square with quite a few restaurants and bars. Even if it is busy part of the city, it was still quiet at night. Nice room and bathroom. Standard breakfast was also ok and included.

Four of us stayed here overnight while walking the Camino. Hard to find but when you do manage to locate it - it's pretty central. Clean, modern, but alas don't expect to sleep - no double glazing and the noise all night was horrendous. Shame! The restaurant is good for tapas but that's about all - eat on the ground floor - first floor waiters were downright nasty!

Stayed there for one night and would happily return.

Fully refurbished bathroom and bedroom. It all looked very new
Receptionist (Chema?) was very nice and helpful. He helped with the suitcases, suggestions for a night out and made our stay comfortable.
Bed was comfy, a/c and wifi worked well.
Easy stroll to the city centre. Plenty of places to eat around the hotel. I think there might be discount in some of the nearby restaurants (we saw the fliers in the hotel but didn't take advantage of these offers)

Views aren't great. Directly opposite a residential building. But we drew the curtains and happy times
Breakfast was basic (pastry, juice and coffee) but at that price, you can't ask for much. The cafeteria were the breakfast was served seems very popular with the locals and you can top up your breakfast and pay for the additional items

Tip: If you are walking from the train station, go via the tunnel; not via the park. The park is a lot more uphill and you'll find many stairs to climb plus the area after the park looks a bit run down. Much easier and pleasant to go via the tunnel (to the right of the rental car offices, it's a tunnel with road and pedestrians separated by railings) and then turn left onto the big street. To access the hotel you need to cross another mini-tunnel at the end right next to the cafeteria

Overall, very happy with the facilities and comfort for a hotel of this category.

Arrived by bus and had great difficulty finding the hotel - entrance up a small side street. My advice would be to ask a local! The room was comfortable and clean, albeit basic. Although there was a window there was no outlook, other than a wall. There is a restaurant where a limited breakfast is served. The access to this is through several corridors/stairs - or out and in another door round the corner. It is at least 30 mins walk to the centre of town, and further to the beaches, although bus service is very good and cheap. This was okay for an affordable night stay but too far away from main tourist attractions for easy access.
