Enrique is great. Very knowledgeable about Toledo as he grew up there and stayed in this B&B for a bit. His English is superb and I was able to practice my Spanish with him.

We had a nice two bed room on the 3rd floor. Very clean with a nice size bathroom. We loved the veranzza with the view of the cathedral and city. We also had a great breakfast in the cellar. Loved the muffins, coffee, toast, and fruit.

Ask Enrique for restaurant suggestions. We had a great time at La Abadia. The restaurant is underground. There were a lot of locals. We had the two tasting menus, wine, and beer for about 60 euros.

We stayed two nights at this hotel in a room on the top floor with a beautiful view over the medieval city with the Cathedral in full sight. A view like this is rare in the town. The hotel is really beautiful and in full authentic style. There is even a small roof terrace to enjoy the sun, the view, and the sunset next to the Cathedral. The hotel only has a few rooms, is very quit and in a quit part of town, but only 3 minutes walk from Alcazar/5 minutes from the Cathedral. The breakfast cellar is of course superb. Don't go the a hotel type hotel but enjoy Toledo the way you should ! Once you have seen how much value for money there is available in the old town of Toledo at this hotel, it will be hard to find anything comparable. Save yourself the time, and stay at this place for an unforgettable experience!

Room Tip: We had room 7 - the best in the hotel due to the view and top floor decorations - you are truly at home.

I stayed here recently and found the place fine, the location was good, the balcony view is lovely. The breakfast was also good, and the room while fairly small was also good. The only negatives I would give, was that the tv didn't work.

The owner/host was extreemly friendly and welcomed us even though we arrived late. The hotel is a an old home with rooms that face the interior courtyard. My family had two rooms and both were charming and attractive. Unfortunately our stay was only one night and we wished it was longer. I recommend parking at a nearby undergroung garage and walking to the hotel (only a short walk)...plan ahead and finding the hotel is no problem. If you want to stay someplace with more character than the larger hotels, we recommend this hotel highly!

We are a 55+ couple who stayed here in August, 2011. It was by far the best hotel we stayed at. Yes, it is a bit quirky. It is hard to find in the maze of streets (but only 50 meters from a bus stop once you get oriented). No lift. And you need to call the host to open the door when you arrive (it is a small hotel).

But the place is GREAT! Extremely clean rooms which are not small). Immaculate bathrooms. Fantastic antiques throughout. A wonderful rooftop terrace that has a fantastic view of the city including the Cathedral.

Daily maid service and a decent breakfast in a below ground level wine cellar. The host, Enrique, was very helpful and responsive, even when we locked ourselves outside after midnight.

We will stay here again and highly recommend this charming place to anyone wanting to experience a authentic boutique hotel.
