Gorgeous lady who runs the place is delightful. Limited English so a little Spanish is handy but if not, no worries. She obviously loves her job and passes on her infectious love of the cheese to you as she explains the types of cheese and how to appreciate it. Great value for 4 euros for the cheese and a decent wine.

This place was fantastic. Family owned and operated little shop that doesn’t try to rip you off. Do the cheese tasting that includes 3 types of manchego cheeses, almonds, tasty house made jam, and glass of Toledo wine for 4€! Also has an impressive selection of regional wine and craft beer. I wish I had a spot like this at home. The owners Celeste and Teresa are wonderful and can offer great recommendations for your day in Toledo!

We stumbled upon this place by accident and boy are we glad that we did!  The owners do not speak much English, but that didn’t stop them from teaching us all things cheese and wine as they are in this region of Spain.

There were a few different “museums” at the back, which were essentially separate rooms that provided information all about the history of cheese making in this region, with both Spanish and English displays.  We found these very interesting and a good way to spend time while waiting for our tasting to start.

For only 4 euros a piece, we were able to taste 3 types of manchego cheese, aged 3 months, 6 months, and one year, with some bread to clean the pallet in between as well as almonds and fig marmalade.  The owner walked us through how to really taste the cheese and observe the differences while enjoying local wine to go with.

After we did our tasting, my wife and I wanted to purchase a few bottles to take with us for the rest of our trip.  We were guided toward some very delicious local wines that we purchased for incredibly reasonable prices. This was the highlight of our time in Toledo, mostly because of the incredible hospitality.  Everyone needs to stop by here!

Whether this is a museum or a shop is a moot point. This is a lovely wine shop with a small exhibit on manchego attached. The lady serving us was amazing and in very mixed English told us how to taste manchego. 6 small manchego portions with a nice glass if wine in pleasant surroundings for 4 euro. What's not to like!

Not too hard to find and town centerish. Quite a small museum consisting of three rooms that contained some of the old, original cheese making equipment. A short black and white film runs on a wall mounted telly giving a good insight into the 'old ways' of Manchego cheese making.
