“Perfect Choice”

So much about this hotel was great: location was absolutely perfect, front desk staff was super-friendly, helpful. I didn't have breakfast but my kids and husband did, and they thought it was fine. Parking is around back, under the building, and costs extra, as it did everywhere we stayed. I really liked that it was near a little town park with a pretty overlook view - went there in the evening to read my book and have an ice cream and felt very "local". We'd definitely stay there again. We had rooms on the top floor, in front, and although we could hear the street noises, it wasn't a bother really. We opened the "hatch" window and enjoyed the fresh air.

This hotel is situated near the end of the old Jewish quarter in Toledo, near the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, the El Greco Museum and the Transito Synagogue. The hotel was a flour factory at one time and is within walking distance of all the monumental sights of Toledo.
Our room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The people at reception were very nice and helpful at all times. Remember that the streets in Toledo are cobblestone and you need good walking shoes.

This is a very nice hotel in a great location in Toledo. We were able to walk everywhere. Some things were a longer walk than others, but we had no issues. Since the hotel is in the old section of the city, the streets are more maze-like. So, make sure you get a walking map from the hotel before venturing out too far.

Our room was in the back of the hotel and there was no view at all, but we did have a balcony. (From what I could tell, none of the rooms has a view.) The room was spacious for a European hotel room, as was the bathroom.

The hotel has a parking garage. You will be assigned a numbered spot for the duration of your stay. Please note that the garage and the parking spots are very small and very tight.

There is great souvenir shopping close by and a lot of great locally made products, like knives, damask, linens, leather goods and pottery.

If you are driving, I strongly suggest you get directions from the hotel staff and that you not follow your GPS. My GPS took me through a labyrinth of very narrow streets and at one point I honestly considered abandoning our rental car and telling the rental company if they wanted the car, they could come get it themselves. But, we persevered and eventually found the hotel. We got directions from the hotel staff from that point forward and had no issues at all.

Very comfortable room in a great location. We were just passing through Toledo for a night, so we wanted somewhere centrally located. This place was perfect -- easing walking distance to most everything you'd want to see, with a lot of nice restaurants around. We didn't try the food here, but the restaurant next door did a nice lunch.

This hotel is perfect.....lobby area, guest rooms, location and most of all, the staff. Their complimentary breakfast is incredibly complete and tasty and the room rates are most affordable.

We especially liked that this hotel, located in the Jewish Quarter, was within two blocks of the Museo de Sefarad and the el Greco Museum and was an easy walk to the Cathedral in Toledo, all of which we consider must-see attractions.

We intend to return to Toledo and will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Toledo is small and pretty much anywhere you stay you're bound to be quite centrally located but I did enjoy the relative quietness of the Jewish quarter. The room was nice, enough space for the two of us and our luggage. The safe worked nice. The breakfast time was long and for Spain quite good. The staff was nice, in particular in the restaurant. It was nice that you could buy a drink and take it back to your room, at the end of a long day. The bed could've been softer and perhaps the AC less noisy.

This hotel was the first on our "roadtrip" and set the standard fairly high. We had problems finding the hotel because there were some roadworks but the receptionist was extremely helpful and explained another way to get there. The room was spacious with a nice balcony with chairs and table. The car park was expensive, but to be honest there is nowhere to park nearby. I wasn't overly impressed by the breakfast, because when things ran out, they weren't replaced (there was still an hour of brekfast time left). The hotel is in the Jewish quarter, which is lovely, but to get to the main area of the town with restaurants, it's all uphill....just to warn you
. I left a cardigan at the hotel and didn't realise until we were 200 km away. I phoned the hotel and they were kind enough to offer me several options on how to get it back. A special thanks to Alberto on reception.
