We spent a night here and were pleased to find that La Posado de Manolo was right at the heart of Toledo, adjacent to the Cathedral. The breakfast room and terrace have great views over the rooftops. Breakfast was good. The staff were friendly. The beds were comfy and we liked the decor in our room on the Arab floor. Gave 4 instead of 5 stars as it was a bit noisy at night, but we'd very happily stay here again.

We stayed 2 nights in Toledo in early April 2014. The hotel is right next to the Catedral, and is close to Plaza Zocodover. The proprietor, Manolo, and his staff, are all extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are a good size. We stayed in the Prestamistas room on the first floow, which had a balcony with a view to the Catedral's spires. it was very quiet at night. Breakfast was a buffet for $3 euros, and was very good. Meats, cheeses, baked goods, yogurt, juice, coffee, cereals and fruit. The decor of the hotel mirrors the history of Toledo and was very well done. There was no hair dryer in the room, but one was provided upon request, which was very much appreciated. They were also happy to watch our luggage after check out so we could enjoy more of the city before our evening train departed. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location, gorgeous medieval styled rooms and decor.

Manolo, the owner is a competent and friendly landlord who'll help you discover Toledo and its hidden gems, he even asked us where we had parked our car, and gave us a 25%discount coupon!

A truly enchanting place to stay, clean and up to date rooms, and beautiful rooftop terrace with stunning views over the cathedral to enjoy as you have breakfast.

Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for something different, but at an affordable price!

My wife and I recently stayed at this lovely little hotel located right in the heart of Toledo not twenty steps from the Cathedral. I would suggest taking a cab from the train station - it is hilly, the streets are narrow and one-way - well worth the few Euros you will spend. Mr. Manolo and family have lovingly restored the 15th Century family home into a beautiful little hotel. You can walk to everything in just a few minutes and if you don't want to go uphill you can go a couple of blocks to Santo Tome and take the public bus #12 for an outer tour of the town that will end at the upper level. You need to spend at least a night in Toledo (we stayed two) to get the real flavor of the town - you will be transported to the Middle Ages. The rooms were clean and well appointed (ours was an armor motif). The breakfast is excellent and served in a nice room with a rooftop view. The staff was always friendly and very helpful - I am so happy we chose to stay in this hotel.

Room Tip: There is no elevator, so if you are older (as we are) you may want to ask for a room on the level wh...

Stayed in this delightful posada recently for four nights a delight in almost every way friendly helpful staff superb location around the corner from the cathedral ,quirky and interesting rooms ours had an agricultural theme (all rooms have a different theme )we were located at the back with a view over the cathedral.Breakfasts were excellent at 2 euro and could be taken on the roof terrace and this could also be used to sit on at other times of the day if desiredRestaurants were readily available nearby or further into town and the hotel was close to the main attractions If you visit Toledo try the tourist train fom Zocodover square great fun and good views of the city.Any complaints ,just 2 first there was no plug in the sink and the shower was small so much so one could alter the tap setting if you didn't turn round carefully.Would we stay again ?most certainly a great small hotel perfectly located at a great price.

It's very close to The Cetradal and a easy walking distance to Zocodover Plaza where you can find the tourism train (a must try). The breakfast cost 2 euro and worthy because you got almost everything (juice, coffee, milk, ham, cheese, bread, toast, cake, yougurt, fruit, cereal and dried fruit) and the beautiful view from top floor.
I must mention the staff, they are the most friendly and smilly people I met. They look always happy to help and always willing to carry my luggage (which is rare when I travel in Spain) Especially the lovely elder lady who serve breakfast and do the room cleanning. She is just like an angel !

Room Tip: The rooms with twin beds are bigger. The rooms at underground floor can be humid sometimes
