If only all hotels had staff like this. We arrived frazzled, without a booking, my husband ill. The hotel was full but the a young, English-speaking receptionist sorted out a parking space in their garage and a room in a nearby apartment block. Her colleague walked us to the flat. The next day we were late for breakfast, but the dining staff had kept the room open for us and made sure we had all we needed. All without any fuss.
I ate in the Casa Ojeda where there's a restaurant, a bar, café and deli, plus tables on the square. Very atmospheric and like many of the other diners, I chose roast lamb from the oven which was wonderful.More
