Restricting my remarks to the bathroom since everyone before me has covered the room and/or restaurant. We are talking black marble! Everywhere! That's the good part (or at least the normal part.) From here we veer off into the stratosphere. The bathroom was outfitted with the usual commode and bidet. However, they were separated from the wash bowl and shower by a glass sliding door. Can someone tell me the purpose of that? Most important, bring your flashlight into the bathroom and examine the workings of the shower before you enter. I mean it! Yes, there is a lovely spa tub with jets that wil assumably pepper your body with water. But it's too late to discover how to manuver yourself and the jets after you've begun. There are 2 handles: the top adjusts water temp and as you turn clockwise, the water becomes cooler. Easy, right? But if you go to one milimeter past cold (perhaps thinking it will shut off the water), you are blasted with ice water coming from the entire wall! And you better not scream, 'cause the entire hotel is filled with your new friends on your bus tour. Be advised; look before you leap.
