It's hard to be a vegetarian in Spain, the land of ham-in-everything, but La Boca Abierta makes it easier. Their 10E daily special includes vegetarian choices! When I commented on this, the waitress replied that "she" (the owner, maybe?) is a vegetarian.
The daily special was very good. I liked the veggie lasagne and my husband raved about the ham crepes appetizer.
The menu also lists veggie tapas and main courses, as well as traditional meat dishes.

In Salamanca for a few weeks and have visited here for a few drinks, the staff are wonderful, very cheerful, and make great Mojitos & caparinha's

Relatively new fusion tapas place around the corner from Plaza Mayor. 3 delicious dishes suggested by the waitress (who speaks English). Crispy tempura vegetables, perfectly cooked pork with goat's cheese and thick cut chips and a fresh caprese salad. With 2 small beers, it came to just under €15. Portions were larger than I expected for tapas servings, I could have ordered one less dish but glad I didn't! So good!

The inside is air-conditioned and well-decorated without overcrowded tables. It's very clean, modern and relaxing. The service is friendly and efficient. For 10€ I had an amazing melted roquefort starter, peach sauce drizzled chicken fillets with rice for main course and apple tart for dessert plus a drink.Highly recommended as the quality is excellent.
