The fixed price daily lunch (including primo, secundo, drink, bread, and dessert at 11 euros is a reasonable deal. The food was simple, nothing fancy, and the service was attentive. (One gentleman was waiting on several tables and had to keep running, or at least walking at a fast pace, across the street to go into the restaurant to get food, drinks, etc.) The fried potatoes that came with the bifsteca and salmon were extraordinary, if you like that sort of thing (and I do). They were thick potato chips or thin home fries, take your pick. In any event, they were hot, fresh, and irresistible, despite my best efforts. One word of warning: the mojito that my wife ordered was 6 euros (i.e., more than half the cost of a three course meal), and she could have had a beer as part of the fixed price! Not that this is unusual, but if you are trying to economize you should be aware. Also, we liked the unusual salad but it was just that, unusual. There was a fried egg dropped on top of the iceberg lettuce, some fried bacon, in a warm red sauce that was used to cook the egg and bacon (I think). It was better than it sounds. Really.
