Very pleasant hotel useful as a stopover if going to or from ferry to southern Spain. Only issue is to make sure that you go down the no entry road ( apart from Hotel Clients) or you will go round in circles. Staff friendly rooms clean and spacious. Central for night life. Only down side was breakfat buffet was cold rather than hot. Park accross from Hotel is excellent

This hotel is rated 4* Boutique style which in my opinion is not really accurate.
The hotel itself is beautiful just off high speed AVE train station. My room on the top floor was very cozy classic style design, the bed was excellent, the bathroom was nice and the brand new TV had super channel selection. However the room was not cleaned properly.

There were no hotel facilities available at all. The only common area was a bar/restaurant where I had an evening snack. Unusual for a hotel of this category!
The minibar did not have Coke light nor soda water which are 2 most common drinks in hotels.
The check in/out was ok, nothing special.
Considering the price paid, the official rating and the facilities of this hotel, I rate it 3* only.

This was a small hotel. We were here only one night. The rooms are extremely small, considering we were just at the Melia Bilbao. But I understand because it is an old building that it is in a very good location and they just tried to make it work. For the money it was ok. Although the room was small, it had all amenites, the breakfast was so so, and the parking....well, lets just say that it was a good thing that I really earned my drivers license :)

I stayed into this hotel for business in June 2014. Perfect room with all conforts and complete breakfast in the morning, for all the cultures! Impossible to eat everything! The wonderful town of Valladolid is really close to the hotel, 10 minutes by foot (to go on foot is the correct way to visit the town!)

Very well located with very nice surroundings. Checking in and out was very fast. Great breakfast. Room had a decent size and was very comfortable. Very silent room and a great night sleep. I would definitely stay there again.

Reception was fast (< 2 mins), with friendly staff.

The room was not very big, but very clean. A safe is available in the room, but that is expected in a hotel of this level. The airco was relatively quiet. All lighting in the room was of the energy saving type, so the hotel is energy conscious.

The bathroom was also clean, but the toilet had a problem: the water kept running. One would expect that Room service would notice this and have maintenance involved.

The breakfast was good, with lots of choices of bread, meat, both warm and cold stuff.

One remark though: is it really necessary to have music (musac?) in the corridors as soon as you open the room door?

The hotel is conveniently located close to (or in) the city center. It's about a 10 minutes walk to the main (and very nice) square of the town. It's also very close to the train station if you arrive by train (walking distance).

We were in a "superior" room - with a grand bedroom, vast bathroom and a separate sitting room. The price was very reasonable. We enjoyed the balcony overlooking a park. So much light and space; wonderful lotions and potions - I loved this place. It's 5 minutes walk to the train station, which was perfect for us, and a brief stroll to all the shops and restaurants. After a few experiences in very modern, functional hotels with small-ish, gloomy rooms (why would there be dark brown ceilings in a small room - ever?) it was a delight to stretch out in an elegant, old school type of hotel. Helpful staff and decent room service as well.

Room Tip: Go for the "superior" room - 402 was superb..
