We've stayed at this hotel for three nights. First of all I must say this doesn't seem like a five star hotel. I think a four star rating would be more accurate. Apart from this the hotel is located at the very center of the city, just five minutes walk from placa catalunia and ten minutes from the old city. The famous houses built by Gaudi are just on the next block. The hotel room (we had the superior double room) was quite spacey and well decorated. The bed was very comfortable but the design of the bathroom was a bit weird. Although it looked good, the washbasin was impossible to use without getting yourself wet. Also the hotel had a completely stupid policy about the room balconies. The handle of the balcony door is removed so if you want to go out for some air or for a cigarette you have to call the reception and someone comes and opens it. Then if you want to close the door you have to call again for someone to close it. You can realize that this can happen like ten times a day. I really can't understand the reason behind this. It's uncomfortable for both the clients and the hotel. The breakfast buffet had only a small variety (for a 5 star) but the quality was quite good. I noticed that they don't have fresh vegetables which is unacceptable. Overall, our experience was good and we'd choose it again if it's in the right price.

We were so happy we decided to stay at Eurostars BCN Design! First of all, it is super modern and our room was very cool: there was a stand alone tub, a shower with a frosted glass door, red tile walls, a balcony (which not all rooms have). It felt fun and special. I should note that there was also a frosted glass in front of the toilet that does not create a sound barrier, so be sure to know the person with whom you are traveling pretty well!

The staff was super friendly, speaking several languages, and the rooms were very clean.

The location is *fabulous*. You are on a main street that, importantly, provides you easy access to all of Barcelona's exciting spots to visit. The Metro is very close - and this station connects to almost every other train that you could want. Taxi cabs also run on the street all the time, and the hotel will call you a cab if you want. The street is full of expensive shops, which was not really "our thing" but still cook, and there is even a Gaudi house about a block away. Many great restaurants are nearby.

It was great. We would stay there again.

When arrived the hotel; there was not the pillow on the bed. Is this joke? When I asked this to the front desk of the five star hotel; they say house keeping are left. There is no possible pillow. This is really joke! I have not see such hotel in any place in the world!!!

The Eurostars bcn is strategically located in the heart of Barcelona , in an upmarket area with fancy shops and marvelous restaurants . The entrance is a bit hidden but the hotel is right in front of the Manderin Oriental , a few steps from the famous Casa Batllo . The reception is located on the first floor , the receptionist was very warm ,welcoming and informative . They kindly offered us a great corner room with a view for no additional cost . The room is very nice ,clean with good light and even a tiny balcony , there is a bit of a privacy issue( kind of an open bath tub ) but I had no problem with . There is a hop on hop off stop tourist bus stop right in front of the hotel and a the metro stop is a few steps to the left , the Catalunya Plaza and the famous Rambla are approx. 400 m to the right .

Room Tip: Geta room with a view .

We stayed here with some friends for 3 nights. We had one of the larger rooms with a very large round bath in the centre of the room. The bath is a total nonsense; it takes ages to fill, and is the wrong shape. Otherwise the room was marvellous with a large terrace, large bed, shower and separate toilet. The staff were superb, and the breakfasts were also good. The Red Buses go from right outside the Hotel, and the hotel is very centrally placed with good restaurants round about. I would thoroughly recommend it.
