We did the half day gaudi tour which includes a drive past his residential work (sit on the left side of the bus, looking forward), then the first stop and walk around is Park Guell and thereafter finishing with the genius of the Sagrada Familia (first glimpses from right hand side of bus).
The guides are fantastic and I really recomment doing this as they provide you with a lot of information and make you realise what a genius the man was.
Entrance to the park is free. The tour includes entrance into the Sagrada Familia. If you do the half day you can stay at the church. If this is an option for you, find out beforehand on the Sagrada Familia's website and pre-book a lift ride in the church. the lift only operates on pre-booking and you cannot use the stairs.

We took the half day gaudi tour. It includes park guell (where you stop for an hour or so), driving past many other gaudi sights and finishing at the Sagrada Familia for the last part. Entrance is free to the park and the tour cost covers the SF. Our guide, Abel was brilliant. Informative, interesting and made the tour worthwhile. His knowledge was very impressive. I do think the cost is quite steep, however this would not put me off recommending them. We took the 9am slot, which was perfect as missed the crowds at park guell and the sun was a little weaker. The coach ride made it very comfortable. We booked the day before online.

Our 15 hour flight to Barcelona exhausted us so much that we had to cancel a day tour. The guide, francisco, from toursbylocals.com was scheduled to take us to Sitges, a seacoast town, and Monserret,a mountain monastery, the next day. When we told him, he offered to also show sights in Barcelona. His tour to Sitges was the only one I found, and I really wanted to go there.
He is an excellent guide. He gave us information, facts and drove many miles in his own car. He was very patient and helpful with my having to use a scooter. He also came back to our hotel to show us some shopping areas on a map. He was not aggressive, boastful nor in a hurry to leave each place. We were very comfortable with him, and we recommend him as an excellent native to share his unique, beautiful city.

The tour was fascinating and excellently put together. Our tour guide "ADI" had a very good knowledge of the jewish history as well as of the general history of Barcelona. He showed us all kinds of details which we would have never found on our own.We definitely recommend Barcelona Dreams to anybody visiting Barcelona. The Fruchters

This bus tour was the best for seeing the city, we sat on both routes - east and west, over 2 days and the buses were frequent, the commentary informative and the staff were helpful. There weren't long queues - unlike the bus touristic - which had awful queues. We went with 2 children and saw so much that it was fantastic - this is a real must for you to know what is in Barcelona - you just need enough time to see it all!
