Description: It is always a pleasure to eat next to the sea, doesn’t matter the season. Rice, seafood and seasonal fresh products are the three main axis of our menu. We cook traditional recipes of Mediterranean cuisine, prepared with top quality ingredients, mostly local and organic. If we add the views and a good range of wines from all Catalan denominations of origin, we are in a unique setting to enjoy with family and friends. In addition to our menu, we have special menus for groups and special celebrations. We can also prepare custom menus, ask for our contact person.

We had lunch at this place. Too bad we did not go back to the other restaurant next door. I had a terrible meal. My wife an average experience. Slow service. Not recommended.

This is a fantastic restaurant right on the front in Vilanova opposite the Club Nautic. Villanova is just down the coast from Sitges. The menu del dia is a regular treat and only €12.50. Eugenia the patroness is very friendly and welcomes us whether we are a couple or with freinds and grandchildren. She even provided 50 meals for our walking group by adding tables down each side of the glazed dining area outside the actual restaurant.

This restaurant is located very convenient for having lunch after a morning at the beach. This is the main reason to come here. The quality of the food is average and the bill is higher for the size of the portions. The staff is friendly if you have luck because some of the waitress are not friendly at all. I have been here several times and regarding this point I have a variety of experiences.

Finally, I still cannot understand why in Spain some restaurants keep on charging several euros for some pieces of bread.

Went for lunch with my girlfriend and my parents. Great view on the terrace... Have to pay extra for the privilege but that's kind of expected. The food was ok not great at all but not awful.

The staff... The girl that spoke to is and showed us to our seat was brilliant, very friendly and welcoming. The girl that took our dessert and coffee order was also brilliant, friendly and informative... The 2 waiters that brought out food and took away our plates were quite rude and impatient.

We ordered from the lunch menu and also ordered a few drinks. My mum tries to order everything in Spanish as she has been learning the language for a few years and managed really well however he kept cutting her short everytime she ordered something.

When the food came it was pretty cold and very over seasoned but was pleasant enough.

We were rushed to finish our starters by the rude waiters, one of them took my girlfriends plate before she had actually finished.

They both really didn't want us to be there like we were an inconvenience to them.

The other staff were fine and friendly. Just a pity the waiters were so rude.

Would recommend going for a beach front lunch but mainly for the view rather than the food or experience.

At the last minute we decided to do dinner without having made reservations (a must for dinner at the restaurants on the beach in Barcelonetta). We talked to the host and asked if there was any availability and he actually took the time to look for a table before saying anything. He was able to get us a small table for two on the beach side of the terrace where would could watch the Mediterranean and enjoy the warm night. We had a bottle of organic eco-friendly wine, which quite tasty and then a very interesting appetizer of gazpacho with salmon and goat cheese which was very tasty. For dinner we had turbot on caramelized onions and potatoes and steak with new potatoes. Finally for desert we had cheesecake and a mojito flavored concoction that included a shot of rum. The meal was well prepared and delicious, as well as different than what we usually eat in the United States.

AS for the service it couldn't have been better. The waiters and waitresses were willing to tolerate my broken Spanish and also spoke perfect English. We never had to refill our own wineglass and all of the servers stopped by to help make sure the meal was going okay. The ambiance was simple, but with the view of the beach that this restaurant had you couldn't go wrong. Far away enough from the busy intersection of the hotels, restaurants, and hotels, bust close enough to walk.

The prices were about average for dining in Barcelona's more trendy districts. Dinner was about 25 euros per plate, the bottle of wine another 20 euros, and the appetizers and deserts all around 7 to 10 euros. (Its the "value added" tax and service fees that make it so expensive.)

When we go back to Barcelona again, we will be sure to stop by for what we expect will be another surprising and delicious meal.
