This hostel had a lot of potential. Very cool vibe, lots of computers, nice common room with big screen tv, lots of organized activities and tours, etc. We had a four bed dorm, with shared living room and bathrooms. The room (two bunk beds) was TINY. Hardly fit all of our luggage. We came back to the hostel around midnight one night and sat in the common room to enjoy a glass of wine and were (rather rudely) told to leave because they "had to clean". We were also "shhhh"'d a few times when it was not that late and we were only two couples. They were a very clean hostel... almost TOO clean because there was ALWAYS a cleaner in our room.... like.. always. Kind of weird. Since we weren't allowed to hang out in the common room (also weird) we went to our room to find that the cleaner had locked the patio door so we couldn't even get fresh air. Odd. Overall, not what we expected and pretty expensive.

Easily one of the slickest, well run Hostels I have come across, Plus plenty of party obviously with stuff on every night. The 4 bed apartments were fantastic. The staff were super helpful and an excellent knowledge base.

This hostel has a very cool skateboard theme, and the layout is good for meeting new people. It was the most social hostel we stayed in during our trip, with something happening every night, and there was a guy going around informing the guests of what was on the agenda for the night. Perfect for traveling alone or with a few people. The location is in walking distance of the Sagrada Familia, a must-see in Barcelona, and the metro is right around the corner.

We stayed in both a mixed room and an apartment - both were great but I think the dorms might be a bit more sociable because you tend to hang out in the common rooms more, you meet a lot of people just going to the shower room or kitchen, while in the apartment there's a living room and a kitchen for fewer people. Everything was very nice and clean. They have this really weird thing with the lighting though - you can't control the main light in your room, they do it down in the reception. Lights are off around 11pm and on around 9am I guess. Each bed has it's own little bed light that you can control though. It also takes a really, really long time to check in for some reason, but the staff are always very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: If you want a bit more peace and quiet, ask for an apartment room. If not, ask for a dorm.

The apartment style was awesome and it was nice to be able to cook to save money. The staff was so friendly and very helpful in giving directions to places around the city. Luciano, Zach, and Mickey were great animators. I would totally recommend staying here, especially if you are looking to go out every night.

The location of this hostel is quite nice, 5 minutes walk from metro (Encants, brings you to Plaza Espanya/Rambla in like 5 stops), Sagrada Familia, and not to forget 50 meters from beer factory Estralla Damn ;) The hostel is very modern with a skateboard theme, not that cozy, but hip. I stayed in a 8-bed-room - 4 bunk beds - NOT a spacious room for this many people. If you like to stay in the room much of the time, i would not recommend this hostel. However, there's plenty of facilities outside the rooms - wc's and showers (seperated by sex), washing facilites (expensive, but free to borrow an iron for your shirts e.g.). Common facilites are great with kitchen, 8 free-for-use computers with internet, relaxing area with a tv screen etc. When I stayed there i saw few people above 25 years - it is a young hostel, and some might say noisy. The hostel arranges pizza-pasta-paella-movie-etc.-nights - get a meal+beer for €4-6 and at 11pm go to the pubcrawl (first you go to some pub, later you move on to a club, typically at the beach). The reception and cleaning personnel: Not everyone was that friendly, but ok in general. Good place to eat: Toscana italian restaurant - 1pm-4pm monday-friday get a delicious 3-dish-meail for €9,5. Definetely worth a visit, went there like 5 times ;)

Definitely worth a visit! The best hostel i stayed at so far! Especially the 4 bedroom dorms in the apartments are very nice! Good service and great activities organized by the staff!!

The pub crawls and diners are definitely worth trying.

What's a plus as well is that the there is a big kitchen and fridge available and a supermarket across the street. So no need to eat outdoors all the time

Speaking Spanish was very helpful in Barcelona, but for many of my friends who were mainly English speakers, the front desk was accommodating and great in regards to any questions we had. The location was nice, not too close to Las Ramblas, so it was safe and quiet, but not too far that it would be a problem. They also organized inexpensive dinners and pub crawls which helped us feel safe. I loved my stay and would stay here again!

Room Tip: PLEASE choose a private room if you're a couple. Remember that you have fellow roommates.
