This was one of our favorite restaurants in Barcelona. It's located in the Montjuic neighborhood a short walk from Placa d' Espanya (just 3-4 stops on the Metro if you're staying near Las Ramblas). Our hotel, Crowne Plaza Fira Center, recommended it and it was a pleasant 3 block walk from the hotel. The service and food were outstanding. Sit outside if possible. Highly recommend the veal fillet (amazing!), salad and creme brullee for dessert. Oh and the sangria is the real thing. A bit pricey, but well worth it. You won't be disappointed.

After dinner walk a block or two and have drinks on the top floor of the former Bull Ring, now a shopping mall with restaurants/bars all with amazing views of the city.

I ate at this restaurant for a couple of evenings in Barcelona with my business colleague. The service and food was outstanding. We can both highly recommend the paella and veal fillet. If you are in the area, suggest you pop in and sample their food and service, you will not be disappointed.

Our hotel, TRYP Barcelona, booked a table for us, as it was my birthday on Grand Prix day. After a 15 minute walk, we sat outside and were waited on immediately. The manager looked after us, and recommended the veal fillet, and tapas to start. The meals were great, and as a final surprise, a cake with a candle, with manager and waiter singing Happy Birthday. I'm not sure that the waiter enjoyed the experience, but we did. Thanks for a memorable evening. Highly recommended.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel staff (Hotel SoHo) when we asked where to eat paella, and indeed, it was truly amazing. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant is very cozy and welcoming. The paella was one of the best meals I've had, although a bit pricey, it was well worth it. To anyone looking to eat a traditional seafood paella, I would recommend l'Amfora.

We happened across this delight of a restaurant by chance on our way to the Arena to see Michael Buble (best concert ever by the way!) when our taxi driver dropped us outside 3 restauarants quite close together, 2 looked dire and this one (although empty at 7.30 but this is Spain and practically still breakfast in their eyes!!) looked cosy and welcoming.

In we went and were greeted by a lovely waiter, we explained we were going to a concert and he suggested a starter of tapas and maybe we'd like some fresh sea bass cooked in a salt crust? Seemed like a good idea so we agreed and ordered a lovely bottle of red rioja to go with it. The tapas arrived and took our breath away it was really good and then came the sea bass, equally delicious and it all totally hit the spot. At a very reasonable price.

If you get the chance to go to this lovely welcoming restaurant go!!! It has a lovely atmosphere even when empty and a really lovely helpful waiter.
