Ibis hotels not have the reputation of being amazing....and this is not exception. Everything is just average and not spectacular . This is your stereotypical Ibis hotel, not fancy, no extras and just a place you want to stay at just for sleeping. And if you want a hotel to see sights in Barcelona, then pic another located in the city center, is well worth it.

The IBIS chain in the Accor Group does not pretend to be five stars. The rooms are clean with adequate space for clothes and a work table. The free wifi was fast enough and is free for up to six devices. We found the bed and bed linen to be outstanding and had a very good night sleep.
The breakfast buffet was adequate, but we missed an egg menu.
This hotel has a locked parking space (ten Euros) which was very convenient, even though getting in and out with a BMW required some maneuvering. The staff is friendly and speaks several European languages. We only stayed one night, but understand the hotel is close to many of Barcelona's attractions.

Only ting that was positive about this hotel was the comfort of the bed, but that is of no use if you are too hot because they have turned the a/c off ( apparently in Feb it is winter so no need for it, but isn't this a tourist hotel and we should be able to choose and considering it was 20 degrees outside?!?). Then there is the water system......every time anyone went to the loo you could hear the water... I'm pretty certain that it wasn't our neighbour going that often! And then when you want a shower you mix it to your desired temperature before flicking to the shower, but the water coming out of the shower head is either very hot or very cold. Finally, don't even bother paying the €7.50 for the breakfast......it was terrible!

I flew into Barcelona on my way back to London, and spent around 30 hours in the city. For the price, the hotel was excellent. Nothing special, but extremely clean, modern, new, and a friendly staff...can't really ask for anything more!

It's a little off the mainstream tourist track in Barcelona, which is a great thing in my opinion...a quieter location of the city. It's right near to the Torre Agbar (the Gherkin-like building) and maybe a 5 minute walk from the Glories Metro Station.

I opted for the all you can eat breakfast in the morning (I think around 7 euro), and it was fantastic, well-worth it for the amount of walking I did in Barcelona later that day.

I took the AeroBus from BCN Airport to Plaza Catalunya then the metro to Glories. Around 50 min-1 hour total. Great experience in Barcelona!

S tayed here for 5 nights. Nicely placed in downtown and well connected, located not far from the city, 10 min. walking distance from Glories Metro. Glories shopping centre less than ten minutes walk with plenty of shops and restaurants. Large supermarket, Carrefour, also located in the Glories shopping centre
The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever been in. Cleanliness, staff and services were great. Wi-fi connection was not so good at rooms, but worked well at the lobby. Room was nice but no refrigerator or safe box. I would use this hotel next time we are in Barcelona.
