I've eaten here on 3 occasions recently, either on my own or with a friend, usually after arriving late in Barcelona and with an early train the next day.
The food is good and there is a wide variety of dishes, but check the menu for prices - I had a surprise with the price of one dish I chose from the blackboard outside.
Wine by the glass is ok, but the choice is obviously better if you have someone to share a bottle with.
It's on a busy street, but if you choose to sit outside there are bushes between you and the road, and apart from any sirens going past and loud motorcycles, the noise is not intrusive. There's plenty of life and atmosphere.
I'll continue going there while I keep doing that particular business trip.

First day in Barcelona and looking for a late lunch. Our hotel suggested this restaurant for their daily menu. We decided to order off the menu instead. The hake (cod Like fish) was excellent but the canelloni was overdone and nothing special. Good service from the waitress and convenient location to Hotel Torre Cantalunya. Total with a beer and glass of wine was 36 Euros. Not good.. Not bad...

This restaurant was fairly near our hotel, and we couldn't be bothered to walk any further. Menu was wide: tapas, main meals etc, and translated into several languages. We opted for the traditional 3 course approach rather than tapas. Salmon carpaccio was wonderful, as was the pork in port sauce. My wife and friend had a fillet steak which although ordered as medium had a very rare centre; ok if you can take it. Puddings were mainly of the pre-made and frozen variety but ok for ice cream. My friend had the home made baked cheesecake which was lovely. Reasonable prices. Very friendly and convival waitress. Wide selection of beers from around the world - bit odd really.

We weren't impressed with the atmosphere in the bar/restaurant area of the hotel we were staying in but felt lucky to find this little gem. It was literally 2 min walk from the hotel so had our morning coffee and breakfast there. We also ate there most evening on our return from the city. They served good food at reasonable prices for Barcelona. The staff were very, very friendly and helpful which enhanced the experience. If you drink wine then stay with the house wine by the glass as bottle are expensive and are only half bottles, a couple are only small bottles but are in the region of 13-14 euros, however, they have a huge assortment of beers and even magners cider.........

This restaurant was fairly busy on a quiet Monday night which we thought must be a good sign. However the food was overpriced, and really wasn't good at all. Small portions, poor of quality food, thrown together haphazardly. The people next to use were complaining from start to finish. I would not go there again.
