Stayed here for four nights with my partner and 2 year old kid. It has NOT met my expectation for the money paid.

WHAT IS NOT GOOD
Bed Bugs in my room! On the third night of my four night stay, found a bed bug. Found blood stains next morning and another live bug in cot. Staff was apologetic and cleaned the place and changed sheets. I suspect this is the first time they are knowing about that in the room. I have been promised they will be cleaning the room.
No electric or gas means the whole point of asking a place with kitchen was defeated. Very tough to not have one when you have a fuzzy eating kid.
No shower gel or dryer provided.
Paper made bowls, plates and plastic spoons in kitchen.
Host is not around other than stated reception hours but been left with a phone number for emergency purpose.

WHAT IS GOOD

Helpful staff with Local knowledge and maps
1 Min away from Bus stop with direct service to many tourist locations like Park Guell, Sagrada Familia and Espanya.
AC to cool down or heat the bed room.
Good view from terrace but didn't use it much.
A mall nearby with most of shops which you might need and some supermercat neary by which are open late till 10 PM.
Minutes away from beach

In a nutshell if you want a place just to sleep then this may be a good option provided it works out for the price you pay.

Friendly and helpful staff, short distance from the beach, 100 m from bus stop, fully equiped kitchen, nice terrace for having your own breakfast, dinner or evening glass of wine, shampoo, shower gel and sunscreen in bathroom - great when you are travelling only with cabine baggage :)
