“Maigot! Oh my god! The perfect pit stop!”
Reviewed 5 August 2013 via mobile

Perfect for beers and snacks to refresh your energy on the way to and on the way back from park guell. Beers are cold and cheap, food is yummy, and the atmosphere is friendly and helpful.
On the way to park guell from the vallcarca metro stop, atop the first set of escalators we noticed a sign on the wall saying "Look back" at first we thought it was street art, then we looked back, thank god we did because otherwise we would have missed this perfect little bar/cafe.
We loved it so much we stopped again on the way back!! And with fewer people in there we had the chance to have a really good chat with Quin behind the bar, gave us a great insight into some catalan history, wonderful guy, wonderful place, thanks!!

“Good find, Great little cafe!”
Reviewed 21 June 2013

On the way to up Park Guell stopped here for lunch, Really cool little place. Very reasonable price! food not amazing but for the price its a good stop just to grab a bite.
The best thing was the fact they served english tea! they had lots of different tea's and after craving a good cupa for 3 days it was lovely.

Were going to stop on way home from the park as the beer and wine was so cheap, i couldn't belive it! but spent too long in the park and the cafe closed at 7pm.

Staff were nice and friendly and spoke brilliant english.

“Maybe ok for stopping by, not worth going there intentionally.”
Reviewed 15 October 2012

We went here while our visit in Park Guell after reading reviews here in TA. It looked nice and was a bit busy. The waiter said he will be right with us, and then didn't notice us for next 15 minutes. But, then we realzed, he was taking orders at the bar from people who came way later then us. I tried to make the order at the bar, and they said, they don't have half of the ingrediets for what we ordered (and what was on the menu), so they just offered us the meals without these ingredients for the same price. I don't think it's a right way to do it, so we left and ate in other place, where everything was ok.

“Pleasant cafe with non-touristy prices”
Reviewed 14 February 2012

The place is more a juice/coffee/tea place with sandwiches and pizza. I had the daily menu special, which was pasta with mushrooms, a glass of white wine, a nice salad, and flan for dessert - all for only 7,50. The wife's and kid's sandwiches were 3,80 to 4,40 each, and although grilled it was a bit disappointing. The staff were young; all spoke English well. But for less than 25,00 euro, we had a solid lunch for 4 in Barcelona, and that cost/value is difficult to find in this city.
