“Just let yourself wander...”
Reviewed 17 August 2014

The Barri Gotic is a fascinating way to discover how wonderful it is to simply get lost. And don't mind choosing not to follow the crowd.

The Gothic Quarter is amazing.
Be sure to wear some comfortable shoes , wonder the streets and explore.
Amazing architecture, quaint little streets, shops, tapas bars.
You can spend hours and hours wondering around

“The best of BCN”
Reviewed 17 August 2014

I lived in Barcelona for a few months years ago and fondly recall my best memories being in the gothic quarter. It is the oldest part of the city, with many winding pedestrian ways, hidden treasures in the boutiques, cafes, restaurants and squares. You could spend your entire trip to Barcelona in the Barri Gotic and never get bored. A lot of history and beauty, a rich area of the city, culturally. And my personal favorite neighborhood.

“Free entertainment”
Reviewed 16 August 2014

This is a must, you can just walk the streets and be entertained. There are museums and great bars and restaurants along the way but it's so worth it just to walk these old streets and take it all in. The Barcelona museum is one of my favorites, it gives you the history of what you are seeing in the Bari Gotic and tells you the history of the city.

“Worth a visit once and that's it”
Reviewed 16 August 2014

The buildings are pretty but the vibe is a bit odd, it seems the weirdos of Barcelona congregate in this area.

I liked it because it's so different to the rest of Barcelona as the streets are alleyways and more alleyways which you should just wonder through (don't bother with a map) which made a nice change to the grid like set up up of the rest of the city.

There's also a beautiful cathedral and good places to eat but it wasn't the highlight of our visit
