“Beautiful street, shops, food, and attractions!”
Reviewed 18 August 2014

I had to take a taxi her from my hotel, but glad I did. Basically a pedestrian only street with dozens of tapas restaurants alongside, bars, retail stores, and small attractions....all tourist!

That being said, the prices were very reasonable, easy to get to, felt safe, and the paella was delicious no matter whee I went! Definitely a fun place to go in the evening, to sit, drink, and people watch

“ehm, no thanks”
Reviewed 18 August 2014

What it was supposed to be a beautiful, spacious pedestrian road is sadly a touristic trap with no relation to the true identity of the city. It's more like a circus with people trying to sell you all kinds of stuff while walking, over-expensive tacky cafes and restaurants and tourism at it's worst. Take a quick walk in it- just for the sake of it- but it's advisible to spend more time in other parts of this beautiful city.

“Disappointing”
Reviewed 17 August 2014

Walking, walking and more walking. If you just want to shop this is the place for you. It wasn't beautiful and I would have loved my trip to Barcelona without trekking up this "must see". Geared to tourists. Much preferred and very much enjoyed the Gothic Quarter where we could happily wander for hours.

“Must-see or must-avoid?”
Reviewed 17 August 2014

Tourist shops, too expensive, too many people and generally bad quality food, pickpockets and nothing very "Barcelonese".

I know, you poor tourists it is advertised as a must-see. But apart from some very good "living statues" you will hardly ever find any Catalan or Barcelona citizen strolling the Ramblas. Try finding a Catalan on one of the terraces......you won't!

“Great place”

Las Ramblas is a great place for a stroll and to sit and spend time. There's many good cafés, restaurants and shops to visit.
