We bought the Museum pass, which included this museum. We did not have to schedule a time, nor did we have to wait in any lines to start our visit. There were a lot of people but we always got to be right up front to see a picture and read the information, if you have a little patience and go with the flow. We really enjoyed the audio tour and highly recommend getting that. If you can afford it, get one for each person, in your group. There is really no seating in the first half of the museum, probably to keep the crowds moving, so be prepared to spend the time on your feet or have a museum seat. I am not sure if they have those available. By the time you get to room 10 there is seating, to take a break. We asked if we could leave and come back in and that is not possible. The second half of the art galleries are more open and of his latest works. There is seating in these galleries to enjoy the paintings. We really liked the chronological progression of the museum and the explanation of the different periods of his life. We highly recommend seeing this sight.
