Owner description: Park Guell is one of the masterpieces of the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi, who projected it in 1900. Inaugurated as a public park in 1926, it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984, reconizing its patrimonial and cultural value as a symbol of modern architecture, being one of the biggest exponents of Gaudi's modernism. This playful urban park, the work of architect Antoni Gaudi, features peaceful greens, winding paths and many sculptures and mosaics designed by Gaudi himself. We recommend the following options for ensuring that you arrive on time at the Park Guell Monument Precinct: - Metro (green line, get off at Lesseps or Vallcarca). When you leave the station, you’ll have a walk of about 20-25 minutes. - City bus (lines H6 and 32). When you get off the bus, you’ll have a walk of about 15 minutes. - City bus (lines 92 and 24). When you get off the bus, you’ll have a walk of about 5 minutes. - Barcelona City Tour and Bus Turistic. When you get off the bus, you’ll have a walk of about 10 minutes. - Taxi to Park Guell (Carretera del Carmel or Calle de Marianao)

What's not to like? Beautiful buildings, mosaics, architecture, history. Unbelievable views, helpful, friendly staff. Informative, educational, scenic & not to be missed Gaudi's home. I want it!

“It's just a parc, but what a parc!”
Reviewed 7 November 2013

Going to a PArc might not seem exciting, but let me tell you thasth this was worth the visit.

Gaudi has spend so much work in detail, it's absolutely amazing. I could spend hours/days in this parc.

The parc, as stated by others, is very busy, but that's something you have to look past to enjoy the beauty and the craftmanship. Also there is not entrance fee, so that might explain why it is so busy.

Worth the visit but there are a lot of people there making it difficult to get an unobstructed photo.

“Amazing Geull Park”

Wonderful buildings. Lots of walking, do not plan anything else for that day.
No fee when I went, but was charging from November.

“Another feast for the eyes”
Reviewed 6 November 2013

Though the general park was free to get in and it was lovely to walk around, certain parts had to be paid for and there were long queues for these 'gaudi bits' which was a shame
