Owner description: Park Guell is one of the masterpieces of the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi, who projected it in 1900. Inaugurated as a public park in 1926, it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984, reconizing its patrimonial and cultural value as a symbol of modern architecture, being one of the biggest exponents of Gaudi's modernism. This playful urban park, the work of architect Antoni Gaudi, features peaceful greens, winding paths and many sculptures and mosaics designed by Gaudi himself. We recommend the following options for ensuring that you arrive on time at the Park Guell Monument Precinct: - Metro (green line, get off at Lesseps or Vallcarca). When you leave the station, you’ll have a walk of about 20-25 minutes. - City bus (lines H6 and 32). When you get off the bus, you’ll have a walk of about 15 minutes. - City bus (lines 92 and 24). When you get off the bus, you’ll have a walk of about 5 minutes. - Barcelona City Tour and Bus Turistic. When you get off the bus, you’ll have a walk of about 10 minutes. - Taxi to Park Guell

A great place to get to know gaudi's style and creations. This park is colorful and extremely creative and I think it is built in a way that anyone can appreciate and enjoy.

Was very excited to see the park as I had been to many Gaudi attractions, however, it was a bit awkward to get to via bus and once we arrived we discovered it was the first day of fees. Decided to walk around outside park instead as you can still appreciate the tiles etc.

Park represents Gaudi's typical architectural structures. You can start from top or main entrance.but be careful about the time you go there, everytime you will see long queues.sometimes there are musicians playing nice melodies, enjoy there :)

We walked to the park from our nearby accommodations. It was easy to find--just follow the crowd. We opted for the "free" portion and found it interesting and a real break from the city, in spite of the number of people there. There are Gaudi touches in abundance, and several walking routes that afford great views over Barcelona. I recommend this for escaping the "city", and seeing Gaudi's talents.
