This was one of Gaudi's houses on the Passeo Gracia. From the street the small balconies resemble eye glasses! There are 3 houses you can go into by Gaudi on this street; they are each owned independently so they each have a separate entrance fee. We chose this one because the line out front was shorter. Gaudi was a very creative man who gave a lot of attention to detail. The windows, tile work, roof, back patio and front room were my favorites. If you go just prior to sunset, head right up to the roof because the picture you will see is beautiful! Then go down and take your time exploring the house. When we went a group of kids entered just before us and things were so crowded that it was tough to enjoy what you were seeing. Later, when we came down from seeing the sunset, things were much easier to navigate as the crowds thinned. I would have enjoyed seeing one more of the Gaudi houses but time did not permit. If you expect to see a furnished house, you will be disappointed...it is the design and special touches and the mosaics that you will be viewing and they are lovely.
