This casa is very interesting. The first floor (european first floor, which is really the second floor) was developed for one family. It is massive and awesome (in the true sense of the word) in its modernist architecture for 1906. They must have been the talk of the town. I understand that the bay windows was specifically built so those walking down the street could look and and take a peak...though I hear that the wife was not a fan of Gaudi's work.
