Tucked away behind the nick and slightly off the beaten track. Outside it looks dusty and the shutters are often down during the day which can also be slightly offputting. DON'T BE FOOLED. This place is brilliant. A true family run retaurant with excellent food, wine service and pricing. The staff are welcoming and attentive but they don't speak English. So, if you are a rubbish Brit abroard like me communication is fun. That said they really make you feel welcome and explain both food and wine well. The house specialities are Steak Tartare and a number of local fish dishes. The steak is absolutely brilliant as a starter and the fish is fresh and well served. Deserts are also local and very good.
Being slightly off the tourist track you fear that this place could suffer which would be a massive loss. When we were there there were only a few other diners. It is well worth the search and well worth sitting down and enjoying the excellent farfe on offer which is very reasonably priced for the standard.
