Owner description: Barcelona City Tour is the 'Hop on & Hop off' service of this Spanish city. Our service offers you two routes to get to know and explore Barcelona from our bus but also letting you go on and off as many times as you wish to go all over the city on your own. Admire the architectural beauty of Sagrada Familia, a work by the great Antoni Gaudi and symbol of Barcelona; go for a walk at Park Guell that joins nature and designs; contemplate La Pedrera and la Casa Batllo, two Modernist jewels at Passeig de Gracia; go all over the labyrinthine streets of Barrio Gotico; fall in love with Montjuic Mountain and Palau Nacional, amongst others. Enjoy Barcelona with us!

Loved it here so much to see and do. Would recommend the cable car tour. A day is so not enough here to see and smell it all. Go to the shopping centers and promenade its a lot cheaper than city shops. A bit of safety advice leave all wallets, bags etc at the hotel there are pick pockets everywhere watching tourists and they blend in really well.

“We travelled on both routes in one day”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

Tripadviser gives them 2013 certificate of Excellence which I saw on the very detailed map they give you along with your head phones and a book of vouchers to use. We booked this online, but all you do is turn up and pay at the desk inside the double decker bus. We got on at Placa Catalunya and went on the East Route first, we sat upstairs. You can see on their website what each route shows you. We stayed on the bus all the way round two & half hours I think. The weather was dull and cloudy and rain was on the way. Then got of back at Placa Catalunya had lunch then back on for the West Route. Which was one & half hours I think. Took lots of photos and the guide was very informative. The bus does stop at each stop which gives you time to decide if you want to get off or not.The chap downstairs had to pop up to pull the roof over us as it started to rain. But as soon as it stopped he came back up and pulled it back so we could carry on seeing the great view. If you have a lovely sunny day in store, then be prepared NOT to get upstairs on the top deck unless you get there early and queue. Mind you other nationalities do not like queuing so they push in front of you.

Exactly in Summer time (01st April till 31st October) the approximate duration of the routes is 2h for the West/Orange Route and 2h15min for the East/Green Route; in Winter time they last 2h each. Thank you so much for your detailed opinion. We hope to see you again in Barcelona City Tour.

“Great value and excellent way to see the city!”
Reviewed 27 May 2014

We bought a 2 day ticket (must be consecutive days) and covered each of the 2 x 2 hour routes without getting off on the first day and then went back to the places that were along way from hotel via the bus on day 2. Buses run from 9am to 10pm daily!
We would have had no idea of what Barcelona offered if we didn't use this tour.
busses are very regular & stops are well marked & numbered. Headphones are provided with good commentary and the view is great.
I certainly recommend this as a must do on your first & second days in Barcelona.

“Great Way to See the City”
Reviewed 25 May 2014

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour! Headsets are provided to hear eloquently narrated history of Barcelona. Open bus provided nice way to snap pics and feel the city air. Buy a two-day pass, so much to see you'll need it plus the price is better.

“Good idea .....”
Reviewed 25 May 2014

if you are in Barcelona for a limited time. We had 2 days in Barcelona and purchased the 2 day ticket to give us as much freedom as possible. The stops are regular, the commentary clear if somewhat repetitive, the view from the top deck gives a great perspective on the city. We took advantage of hopping on and off at the places of interest to us. The buses run until 8pm ish and we used our ticket to go out in the evening as our destination was across the city from our hotel. We felt it was good value, not too much hanging around for buses but they were very full, especially on the top deck understandably so be prepared to be separated from friends. I can imagine it would be tougher to get a seat in the summer when the demand for top deck seats will be higher, no way round this though apart from waiting for the next bus which unless you get on at stop 1 will still be full. All in all i would recommend as a method to get an overview of the attractions and choose which ones you want to return and spend more time at. Both routes were interesting, showing the diverse nature of the cityscape.
