“To Die For!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 May 2014

This is hot chocolate to die for. Thick, rich, smooth - did I say thick?? Rest a spoon on top and it will not sink. And of course - dunk the churros into the chocolate. The churros were hot, fresh and lightly sugared. This is decadence in a cup and beats the hot chocolate in Paris by a mile!!!

“Great coffee, chocolate and pasteries!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 May 2014

We overheard a German tour guide say this is the "best café" in Gothic Quarter. The coffee and the pastries are excellent, service is slow, but so are most cafes in Barcelona. Great varieties of pastries, homemade whipped cream, and the café con leche was superb. Tried something called a "Mallorca cake" which was delicious.

“Amazing chocolate!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 March 2014

We stumbled upon this place while looking for a place to have coffee. Turns out it was an excellent choice, we got lucky!I highly recommend the Viennese coffee, it's with whipped cream (real one, not the kind that comes in a tube).
The place is traditional, small and very well maintained. The service was good, waiter was fast and friendly. They were out of Churros but the waiter kindly recommended some other goodies. All in all a wonderful experience.

“The best churros in Barcelona”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 September 2013

I love this place and always come there every time I'm in Barcelona. It's a little place with very kind and fast personal. Churros are the best there, especially with hot chocolate!

“Great traditional atmosphere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 August 2013

I'm a sucker for an old-fashioned cafe, and so Dulcinea didn't disappoint. Very quaint, great service and great churros and chocolate. Worth a look-in!
