“Good hotel, Great rates, Convient location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 July 2014

Stayed here for a night while catching a Mediterranean cruise. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and helpful, location was good. This hotel was exactly what we needed. While not in the center of everything, it is close enough to most attractions to make it convenient. Is about 20 minute walk to Sagrada Familia (visit & buy tickets in advance). About a 15 minute walk to a lot of great restaurants. Rooms were on the small side, but filled our need, had rooms in the back which have no view, but were quiet.

Room Tip: Rooms in back are quiet, but you will have a view of nothing.

Very clean, comfortable room with modern bathroom (I loved the marble sink but slight gripe with the design - it was very shallow which meant I got covered in water if I put the tap on too hard!). Reception staff very helpful and friendly, check in/out was painless and they provided a map and recommended a restaurant for us to try. There is someone on the desk at all times so the place felt very secure.

Breakfast was an extra €8 + IVA per person per day which we didn't bother with so can't comment on that.

Turn right out of the hotel and Gracia Metro is directly across the street, turn left and head up the hill and Fontana Metro is a 5 minute walk away.

All in all a pleasant, hassle free, value for money hotel, and I would stay here again if in Barcelona.

Big room with solid bathroom, windows that open from both! It's nice to have a shower with fresh air flowing in.

There was a TV with some English channels, all the normal amenities.
Staff was helpful, arranging taxi's and providing directions.
Breakfast was extra but quite good.

Negative- laundry was insanely expensive. Getting just underwear and pants done would have broke the bank.

We had great time in the hotel! Good location, clear room, nice and helpful staff. Market, restaurants, metro stations and Park Güell are near. :)

Nagyon jól éreztük magunkat! Szép és tiszta hotel. Metró állomások, éttermek, piac a közelben, Güell park sincs messze.

This hotel was very nice and was a 5min walk to a metro station (which is the best way to get around Barcelona and super easy).
The room was clean and very comfortable. The mattresses are a bit too soft and may need upgrading but after a big day out exploring, it did not make a difference to how we slept.
There is no mini bar which is fine, but it also means there is no place to store drinks or any food that you may want to keep cool for the next day (especially during summer).
The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly when needed but were also respectful of your personal space. Very friendly even at 6am when checking out and were happy to order us a cab to get to the airport.
Overall, a good stay and would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: It is quite loud (sirens, cars, construction and partying) if you have a room facing the street (Via...

My husband and I stayed in Barcelona for four days in May/June 2014. The hotel is situated close to the metro, so that all points of interest, like the historical sites, the museums or the port, could be reached easily. But we liked to walk a lot too, because several main sights could be reached walking. We sure can recommend the service; the breakfast was okay. The room and the bathroom were fine.
