The location is the best in Barcelona. it is right in front of Sants station , you can go everywhere in Barcelona from here very conveniently. and the service of staff was awesome. They speak English fluently. they knew what travelers want. Breakfast was the best in Europe. you can eat fresh fruit and vegetables here. I stayed 6 different hotels in 3 countries(Italy,Spain,France) this travel. and Expo was the best. I was really satisfied. Thank you Expo!

Thi shotel is absolutely fine. The locationis god, just around the corner from Sants station, the rooms are clean, the facilities are of a good standard, the staff are really friendly and helpful. The food is good and there is a roof terrace bar / restaurant with good views. However, the noise is terrible. The noise comes from both inside and outside the hotel. I stayed for 5 nights and barely slept.

Expo was our last hotel we stayed at in Europe. Like others who stayed, we booked a double and told we had a twin room so had to pay for the upgrade to a double "executive" room which was far from it. We stayed in 3 star hotel in Granada (Dauro) which was cleaner and nicer than this. Very disappointed for ?160 for 2 nights! And does not include breakfast. Entrance looks flash, rooms very outdated- Look elsewhere.

Pro- 10 min walk to espanya and 2 min walk to to sants station

Reception and facilities rate a 4 star but this isn't reflected in the rooms. Just a 3 minute walk from Barcelona Sants station, so ideal for the airport or long distance trains. Rooms are are fairly lifeless but roomy (although long, rather than wide). The TV was old and the bathroom a little dated. The staff were efficient and welcoming and happy to explain the various eating options, which included a rooftop terrace bar with swimming pool (pool closed at night). The food was a little expensive and the mini bar lacked variety but the location of this hotel makes up for it's lack of soul. I felt very safe as a lone female traveler and will probably use again.

Outdated and dirty! Bathroom floor had urine around the toilet area, beds are hard as are the pillows. Noises throughout the day and night makes it difficult to get a good nights sleep. I had to play a white noise app all night to get through.

We were moved here from another hotel as it was fully booked.

We were immediately disappointed with the location as its about 45 minute walk to las ramblas. We ended up having to use the metro everywhere which is easy enough but we would have preferred to be closer.

The room was pretty basic for a 4 star hotel and we were greeted by a horrible smell coming from our sink every morning. We dipped our feet in the rooftop pool but it was painfully cold so we didn't venture any further! Great views though.

We didnt try the food and the drinks were expensive.
