It is located in the heart of La Ramblas very close to Place de catalunya. I thought it might be too busy and hectic but it was perfect. All the activity got us out with the crowds and excitement. Went running in the morning on La Ramblas before it got too busy around 8:30 0r 9. Hotel itself was very clean and although there was no concierge or porters per se, the front desk people were very helpful. Had the breakfast every morning as well which was worth it!

Since few hotels in Europe accommodate four in one room, it was nice to stay with the kids in one room. However the room had no view and our window opened to another building close to us, so the room was pretty dark.
There were two safes in the room but neither one could be locked. We asked the service desk several times to fix the problem but they did not. It was disappointing to get no service and not even an apologies for lack of a safe.
The location is good as it is close to Plaza Catalunya, its subway station and many stores and restaurants nearby.

Don,t expect too much from this hotel. No porters and no free coffee or tea in the rooms. However, rooms are adequate, clean and comfortable. Fall out the front door and you are straight into the hurly burly of the Ramblas. Just 200m from the metro and Plaza Catalunya it is ideally situated for shopping and for the hop on and off bus truistic. You can walk to the port area within 20-30 minutes and take in the sights and sounds of the gothic area. Great street artists playing guitars, bugles and singing opera. Magic atmosphere. Plaza Catalunya has a great atmosphere at New Year but the real action is at Plaza Espana. will we come back again? For sure, and Royal Ramblas will be our choice of stay

Room Tip: Double glazing throughout so a room overlooking the Ramblas is a good option

Stayed here for 5 days during my recent visit to Barcelona. The hotel is right at the beginning of La Ramblas, right near the Plaza Catalunya. It's right in the central downtown that can take you literally everywhere in Barcelona you want. The subway station is just 1 minute walk from the hotel and there is a airport express bus that takes you from Plaza Catalunya and the airport. Much better way to get to the hotel than spending 30 Euros for a taxi. You can also get a 10% off discount at the restaurant right on the hotel ground floor (not part of the hotel) by asking the front desk for a coupon. Overall, I am very impressed by the hotel, with its modern decor and convenient location. The nightly rate is also fairly competitive as well. I would definitely have no reservation in staying here again in my next visit!

It is ideally located at the start of the famous Ramblas of Barcelona. We hired a Royal Room, overlooking the Ramblas. The room is not very big but enough space. There is a large closet with space for luggage and seating area in the dressing room. The design of the room makes the sink is not in the bathroom, but that is in the hall, and part is a WC and a shower with separate doors. King size bed with 4 pillows very comfortable.
There is a small sofa with a view of the Ramblas and a small work areawith a kettle on the desk. Free Wi-Fi , enough for 2 computers is included. The rooms are recently refurbished and Royal plant has designed rooms, very nice, but the entire hotel is very nice.

We hired through hotel’s website, where there was free breakfast deal , which is useful if you count the price of breakfast is € 15 per person . The breakfast is fairly complete, well presented, in a tiny buffet, but it has everything. But if you don't want to pay 15€ per person for your breakfast, next to the hotel you'll find a "Viena" where they prepare sandwiches and breakfast cheaper.
Hotel staff is very friendly and cooperative.
The hotel has a small underground parking in the same building. It is quite small, narrow and steep, but very practical. The price per night is 27 €, but in any city parking price per minute is 0.05 €. Also, you can come and go as many times as necessary.
It is slightly more expensive than other hotels in the area, but 4 stars, staff and decor 4 star hotel.
If I were to stay again in this area of Barcelona, I would repeat this hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the Ramblas are wonferful, but others are cheaper. Before making a reservation, ch...

Stayed for 3 nights during Nov. THE location at La Rambla! In the center of everything. Only a 5 min. walk to El Corte Inglés (and to the Aeropuerto bus stop), about 10 min. to Passeig de Gracia and also several metro stations close by. The bigger grocery store Carrefour and the market place "la Boqueria St. Josep" also next to the hotel. Nice & helpful service. Personnel had good English skills. Our room was faced to Rambla, good view with a nice interior, stylish. Not too noisy although there is quite much of action and traffic all day long at La Rambla. Did not have the hotel breakfast (offered for 15 €). Certainly enjoyed our stay, would recommend!

Room Tip: Rooms facing la Rambla. (costs around 20 € more, but worth it)

The hotel is perfectly located on Ramblas a few minutes walk from Placa de Catalunya where the Aerobus & the hop on hop off bus stops r located. C&A, McDonalds, Burger King, H&M, Zara, two pharmacies, Carrefour & the famous El Corte Ingles department store r all very few meters walking distance from the hotel, a Halal food restaurant is 2 blocks away as well for those interested. It also had several souvenir shops right across & a tourist info desk as well. We had a superior room that overlooked the Ramblas yet heard no noise at all. The room & the bathroom were spacious & well furnished & wifi worked just fine (free of charge)& it had a minibar & a safe. Breakfast was fine (not the best though). Only 2 downsides: staff at reception weren't as friendly as i wud expect from a 4 stars hotel in such touristic location & it took us quite a while to check out. The other thing is a bit trivial but shudnt slip a 4 stars hotel: tv remote battery cover was missing, sink tap was broken, didn't cause any trouble but was dangling. But still we wud definitely stay again in this hotel in our next visit to the amazing Barcelona
