We came here for a short break in April and were umfortunate enough to be bound to our room due to sickness, are room was spacious and immaculately clean. As we spent most of our time in there was very accomodating. The staff, especially the tall receptionist with long hair (sorry didn't catch name), was very friendly and extremely helpful. The safe room to look after your things was very secure. Would love to return.

Nice hotel in good place, but look out they steal !!!!!!!! Don't leave money or other expensive things in the hotel. Staff checked the electronic system and found that in the room was no stranger inside, except room service. They said it is not possible that cleaning lady do this because she working there 10 years ? Ofcourse I went to the police.

This hotel needs an upgrade. Our shower was broken, when I asked for it to be repaired I was told they could not do that but I could change rooms. It had obviously been broken for a while, why put forms in the rooms to inform them of maintenance problems if they are not going to repair anything. The breakfast was good if you enjoy eggs that you could build houses with, lukewarm bacon, sausage & beans. The patio door did not lock although on the 6th floor, still disconcerting.1.25 euros per night for the room safe.Daytime front desk staff helpful and willing.
The rooms at the back are definitely the quietest.Would I stay here again? only for the location which is central to most things otherwise I am sure there are much better hotels around there

Room Tip: rooms at the back are quieter but the view is lousy

The hotel was right on the Rambla which is the main street in Barcelona. It was super close to a metro station as well which was what we used to get around the city. The staff were all polite and answered any questions we had. While I could see how there could be noise, we had a room just a couple back from right off the street and had absolutely no issues with noise. The breakfast provided was amazing! Plenty of options including eggs, bacon, deli meats, cheeses, yogurt, cereals, pastries, fruits... The list goes on. And there was fresh squeezed orange juice! The breakfast managed to keep us going for the entire day and we only paid for food for our dinner. We were only looking for a nice bed to sleep in and a good place to shower and this hotel was just the right thing for us! Good value for money for sure!

me and my friend stayed at this hotel recently, the customer service is ridiculous! our safe did not open on the Friday night (2nd night of stay) had all our personal belongings in there ie passport and they had no way of opening it! we got access to the safe late Saturday morning after the had to use axle! it was a complete joke and disturbed all the other guests with the constant noise which lasted over two hours. We asked for compensation for the Friday night as we had to stay in and had purchased tickets to go to a nightclub but the emails we received were so rude! One of the guys on reception barely speaks english so you will not get very far if asking for directions or anything else for that matter! The management are no where to be seen.

We stayed at this hotel twice, one night before a cruise from Barcelona and then for 3 nights after our cruise. We had pre-booked and paid for everything before we left. Our first room on arrival was horrible!, it had a small window looking into a brick wall and deep hole between buildings, not sure what it was for, but the room stunk so bad that we went straight to lobby and asked to be moved, they moved us to another room which we loved, it opened onto a small terrace and looked down onto the main street and had no smell. The furniture is basic but fine for what we were expecting. We were surprised by some of the costs, $2.50 per day to use your safe, $10 deposit for tv remote ( which was refunded at end of stay, just surprised). On our return after we had cruise we had booked a terrace room and asked staff if we could please have the same room, they replied our next room was much better as we had paid more for the best room when booking the 3 nights. When we returned we went up the terrace room and it was on the top floor, it had a large terrace with table and chairs to sit outside, but to us it wasn't as nice as the room we had before, it was an odd shaped room and the terrace didn't look down on street like the other room more over the roof tops, but if you were a smoker or wanted to sit on terrace with friends you would like it. We went back down to ask if possible for the other room we stayed in. They happily moved us back down, we didn't want a refund between room prices just our cosy old room, we liked. I can't remember the room number but it was on the 4th floor looking onto the street below. The staff were all very helpful and the poor breakfast ladies are run off their feet yet still very helpful. Only other tip would be take ear plugs as you are in the middle of the hustle and bustle so lovely to watch during day but if you are a light sleeper like me, I needed ear plugs so went and bought some second day

Room Tip: Rooms over street are just standard window rooms, but you need to request otherwise the back rooms d...

I wouldn't stay again. I was never given the option of a room with a window- just a flat rate of £50 per room - so ended up with a room with curtains and nothing behind it. Air con didn't work so too hot at night, and too uncomfortable too on the hard and lumpy beds. I woke in the night vowing to always spend a bit more on accommodation in the future!

There were some positives - free breakfast which was nice & a great location right on the ramblas. I needed my sleep for all the sightseeing though, so the negatives impacted on out holiday :/

Distinguido cliente,

Saludos,
