We had one night in Barcelona after our cruise and made the wise choice to book the Hotel Dante. The staff is amazing - very friendly and everyone went over and above to be helpful...tips for the city, helped with dinner reservations, helped with luggage...we really felt appreciated and valued. The rooms are very nice and clean. Location was perfect for us - lots of great walking areas nearby, lots of small restaurants and just a few blocks from metro and hop on hop off bus stops. We added the breakfast for 9 euro...well worth it. Great selection of food and everything was delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The hotel is a great value for the price. The rooms clean, comfortable bedding, spacious beds and very good A/C. This hotel is approximately five blocks from the hop on hop off bus. Another advantage is a supermarket on the block and easy to get a cab. To reach all major points of interest cost less than €15 in a cab, beach, Camp Nou, Las Ramblas etc.

I stayed in this hotel and found my room fantastic for a solo traveller. It was compact but had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Mini bar, great closet and even an area with desk, chair and computer facilities. The staff were extremely helpful. Located on the same street as La Sagrada Familia, Close enough for a 70 year old (me) to walk to but far enough away to avoid crowds and noise. The Placa de Catalunya (known as heart of the city) was just a leisurely walk away. If I ever return this is my pick of hotel. Reasonably priced too.
