Stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel has a nice location as it is very near to various restaurants, and convenience stores; it is also near to La Rambla, a shopping street, and Plaza Catalunas, near commercial centers and banks.

Rooms are not very big but spacious. Beds are very comfortable and toilets are good. The only downside is that the toiletries are not complete in our room, and there are no slippers. You have to request for them, which we did, and they gave us only one pair. It was a hassle to request again.

Lobby is quite small especially if there are tourist groups since they occupy all the sofas available, but staffs are very hospitable.

The downside of this is probably breakfast. Except for the cakes and breads, which alternates daily, the menu is the same everyday. Food is good, and a bit on the salty side, but I wish they would change their menu alternately.

Transportation is very easy as it is near a bus station.

Location of hotel is ideal for those looking for a fantastic city break close to all the top ten attractions that Barcelona has to offer such as: sagrada familial, la rambla , gothic quarter, gaudi buildings, beach, football stadium, olympic city . If is easy to explore the city by foot,by metro, tour bus or bike (£10per day).the staff at the hotel are extremely helpful especially with directions , booking tickets etc. Breakfast was great with a variety of options. Free wifi and access to pcs . Stayed in Room 903 which is a quiet triple room with fantastic views from the sun trap of large balcony . We WILL stay again

Room Tip: Fantastic views room 903

Stayed in 7th floor facing the Tribidabo mountain. The room is big enough and clea. The metro stops below the hotel entrance, found it very confortable. Just 10 minutes walking to the Ramblas. The surrounding of the hotel could be better.... I think its a litle overpriced....

The hotel is very nice and clean. The rooms are quite spacious, I would say that they are larger than average. The facilities are good, the pool looked nice. The staff were really friendly and spoke English well. The bar had the basic drinks; wine, beer, vodka etc, but not much more.

The hotel is on av paral.lel which is very close to the centre, it is less than a 10 minute walk to Rablas, the magic fountains are in walking distance and the Barcelona bus touristic stop is also very close. There is a metro stop right outside the hotel and taxi's are always going by.

I stayed here one night 3 June. Location is fine, easy walking distance of the port and La Rambla. Check in was OK and my room was ready. It was an internal room, with a frosted glass window that over looked some sort of internal hole in the building. For some reason, the wall paper is black, making it very dark. The room was well laid out and the bed was comfortable.

There were a few niggles though. There was no spy hole in the door. The efficient air con did not turn on automatically when the room card was placed in the slot by the door and had to be set to the correct temperature each time. No instructions on the room safe. It took me a couple of tries to get it to work. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

On the plus side, the shower was efficient, the wifi free and adequate for my needs. The staff seemed friendly enough. I can't speak about check out efficiency, as I'm writing this in the room and using their wifi prior to leaving for the cruise port.

A nice enough hotel and if I'd been given a room with a window, possibly a slightly higher rating would have ensued. There are other hotels I'd try in Barcelona though.

Room Tip: Ask for one with a street view.
