We stayed for 12 nights at Hotel Paral.lel. It's a max. 5 minutes walk from the metro station Parallel. When you exit the metro: follow the exit direction "La Pau" and then use the left exit at the T-junction in the tunnel.
Like other reviewers mentioned: the area isn't touristic which we loved! The streets are full of restaurants, both local and places such as Burger King and KFC. Supermarkets are very nearby which might be handy if you want to buy bottles of water etc. There are homeless people in the area, but they won't disturb you and mostly are asleep.
About the room itself: it was clean and tidy. The beds are really hard though and the pillows kinda thin. You can request more pillows for free at the reception. We requested a room on a higher floor, but got a room on the first floor anyway. So we woke up everyday due to people walking past our room to the breakfast area since it's not soundproof at all. Also the internet connection wasn't that good inside the room. We had to stay near the door to have a continious internet connection. The internet download speed itself was great though. Our room had a balcony, but no furniture. So we only used it to dry our beach towels. Apart from that we really liked the hotel and think it's worth the money.
